Inspired With Design
Cheltenham Fashion Week approached Creative in early 2011 with the proposition to sponsor a high-profile event, which has turned into a full-scale business.
Formerly Bury Kitchens and Bedrooms, the client not only rebranded the business but took this as an opportunity to change its name too. Inspired with Design required a premium, contemporary, cutting-edge feel to match its offer.
Taking the initial idea of a high-end fashion event, aiming to draw people into Cheltenham, Creative designed a classic yet youthful brand, complete with advertising campaign. From here a website was designed, which is now the central hub to find information on the range of fashion events going on throughout 2012 in Cheltenham.
The 3D perspective of the logo is created by the use of tonal greys to add depth, with the accent of colour adding interest and engagement. This was then taken across business stationery and style guidelines were produced to enable the client to ensure a consistent brand across additional materials.

A simple but charming illustration style was developed, along with characters and a complementary colour palette. Delivering on the brief, we captured the values of nurturing, education and the innocence of childhood that were essential when analysing the brand values. Our client cried when she was presented with the initial brand and website designs. They were so delighted with the branding that the day nursery in Birmingham was redecorated and the beautiful illustrations recreated.Â

Discover Wellingborough Hot off of the press after pitching against five other agencies, Creative has secured a three-year deal to help the Wellingborough BID team deliver a marketing campaign for Wellingborough’s high street retailers. ‘Discover Wellingborough’ is our campaign strapline and this creative concept invites the target audience to discover the hidden gems in the town centre. It uses a modern, casual illustrated style with striking, unusual eye-catching colours to attract the audience to read and engage. The campaign has the ability to stretch from fun and humorous to informative and modern. It also allows the use of photography to complement the illustration when necessary. The plan kicked off recently with a Christmas lights promotion and will follow in the New Year with the launch of the website with a full directory and advertising campaign.

The client came to Creative with the brand equity of a Dalmatian dog and very little else, so we immediately worked on their visual strategy going forward, developing a comprehensive set of guidelines for their brand, advertising, sales material and imagery. This has included a positioning piece and the development of the Dalmatian equity and copy lines that include ‘when it needs to be black and white’. A new website is also currently in development.
