Adult supervision and assistance are required at all times. 3. This kit is intended for children over 8 years of age. 4. This kit and the finished product contain small parts which may cause choking if misused. Keep away from children under 3 years of age. 5. Use of scissors is required. Adult supervision is required when using scissors.

B. CONTENTS Part 1: Hand frame, Part 2: Finger tube x 5, Part 3: Finger end cap x 5, Part 4: Pull ring x 3, Part 5: String. Also needed but not included: a pair of scissors.

Your Instructions (included)

C. ASSEMBLY 1. Starting with the little finger, examine the finger tubes. The end with the narrower ring is the tip and the end with the wider ring is the finger root. Now hold the hand frame with the plastic loops facing upwards. Push the root of all fingers into the plastic loops as shown. Slot the finger end caps onto the finger tips. Make sure the finger tubes and hand frame are at the same orientation so that the fingers will bend the correct way. 2. Cut a 50 cm long piece of string. (Tip: Use the 25 cm ruler at the top for easy measurement – it’s easy to measure out 25 cm, fold the string and measure 25 cm more, then cut!) Tie a knot at one end of the string. Thread the other end of the string through the finger end cap of the little finger. 3. On the inside of the rings on the finger tubes are small sleeves. Continue to feed the string through all the sleeves to the end of the finger tube.

nce you have gathered all material, follow the steps in the printed instructions booklet/ leaflet. Make sure your mum or dad is watching over while you do this so that you can reach out to them when you need.

Step 3: Making the ball

Step 1: Set up the work area

Prepare an area to do the project. Best place is a table or a flat bench. Make sure to cover the area with a plastic table cover. Place all the items from the kit on the area for easy access.

Once the mould is filled up to the top, put the cap back on, so as to seal it properly. Now submerge the mould in a glass full of water. Wait for at least 1 minute and take it out. Place the wet mould on a tissue paper to wipe off dripping water.

Step 2: Getting Ready

Step 5: Bounce the magic

Take a plastic cup or glass and fill it threefourth with water. Place it near your work area.

Open top of the mould provided in the kit and start filling it with different colour sand in small proportions. Make sure you tap the mould in between adding colours. It helps in settling the colours and fill in the empty spaces in the ball properly.

Step 4: Submerging the ball

Wait for 5-10 minutes before opening the moulds. Gently open-up the moulds and take the ball out. Here you go bouncing them around!

nce you have gathered all the material you need, follow these steps. Be creative and try doing things in your own way. Most importantly, make sure your mum or dad is watching over while you do this so that you can reach out to them when you need help.

Âť Hot Wax! Adults assistance and supervision recommended. Step 1: Prepare the Candle Wick Take the candle wick and attach the stickums to the base of the wick. Now place the candle wick in the centre of the short glass. Make sure the wick is standing up in the middle.

19 of 24

Make your own Layered Wax Candles Step 2: Attaching the Candle Wick Break the wax cubes in smaller pieces and pour one scoop of wax into a paper cup. Microwave the cup for two minutes (or until the wax melts in the cup). Take the cup out of the microwave and stir with the popsicle stick (item 5). Pour a thin layer of the melted wax into the bottom of the short glass. Let it harden.

Step 3: Colour your Wax Take the paper lining off the crayons and break them into small pieces. Add same colour crayon pieces into one cup and add 1-2 scoops of wax to the cup. Heat-up the crayons and wax in a Microwave for 2 minutes. Take it out and stir to make sure all wax pieces have melted. Add the melted coloured wax to the short glass and wait for the wax to harden.

Step 4: Adjust the Wick Once you have filled 3 quarters of the glass, do not pour any more wax. Cut the extra wick off. Enjoy your very own coloured candle! Make it a show-piece or gift it to family or friends. Note: Optionally, you can colour the wax using different colour crayons and layer it up to make a multi-coloured candle. Make sure the layer below cools down before pouring the next layer.
