Follow the Steps on the Back Cover Page
Watch this Information Video on how to make Magical Slime. https://youtu.be/VqSYnEBAL-c The colour of slime will differ as we have used different colour in the activity.
O
nce you have gathered all the material shown on the left page, follow these steps. Make sure your mum or dad is watching over while you do this, so that you can reach out to them when you need help. Step 1: Get Ready Gather all the material required and use a flat surface like a table or a bench to do the activity. Keep a paper towel handy in case of any spillage. You will need measuring cups for almost all steps, so keep it handy all the time.
Step 2: Pour some glue Pour 30 ml (1/4 cup) of School Glue in a mixing bowl. Use a measuring cup from your mum’s kitchen for this step.
Step 3: Add warm water Add 30 ml (1/4 cup) of warm water to the mixing bowl. Measuring cup again!
Step 4: Stir the Glue Solution Stir this solution until it is mixed to an even consistency and keep this solution to a side to be used in a later steps. Let’s call it the Glue Mix.

Step 5: Pour some warm water Take another mixing bowl and fill it with 120 ml (1/2 cup) of warm water. Use appropriate measuring cup!
Step 6: Add Borax powder To this mixing bowl add 2.5gm (half tea spoon) of borax powder and stir until the borax powder is completely dissolved. Let’s call it the Borax Mix.
Step 7: Add Borax mixture Slowly add small amounts (1 teaspoon at a time) of the Borax Mix (step 6) to the Glue mixture (step 4) until it thickens into slime. Make sure to continue stirring the Glue mixture as you are adding the Borax Mix one teaspoon at a time. Stop once the mixture has turned into a loose slime consistency. Note: If too much of Borax Mix is added, the slime will be very stiff and not very slimy, so make sure to add the Borax Mix slowly and be careful not to add too much. If you don’t get the right consistency of slime, start again!
Step 8: Fold your Slime Take your loose slime and fold it 10-20 times to make sure all the ingredients are mixed well.
the slime 10-20 times. Add more colour if required. The slime should have the colour of the food colouring now.
Step 10: Add Thermo-chromic Add 5gm (half tea-spoon) of thermo chromic pigment to the slime and again fold it 10-20 times until it is mixed completely. Make sure your slime is completely covered in the pigment and takes the colour of the pigment.
Step 11: See the Hot Colour Place the slime in the microwave for roughly 10-20 seconds (depending on the power of the microwave). This will cause the slime to heat to above 33 degrees Celsius (92 degrees Fahrenheit) and slime colour will change to the food colour you have added in the Step 8.
Step 12: See the Cold Colour Cooling it down will cause the slime to return to the colour of your thermo chromic pigment again. You can cool it down instantly by placing it over ice or a cold can of water or soft drink. Now, it’s time to show the Halloween Magic with this cool slime. Enjoy!
Step 9: Add some colour Add 2 to 3 drops of food colouring to the slime and mix it together by folding
