In 1866 Almpantakis family set up its “Anemomylos” olive oil mill in Kalessa of Heraklion on Crete Island. Today, 150 years later, knowledge and love for this product has been passed down to the 4th generation and family business keeps operating with same goals - excellent quality and exquisite taste. “PREMIUM BY ALMPANTAKIS FAMILY” is an extra virgin olive oil selected from the family’s olive groves, produced of the most famous Koroneiki variety, which offers one of the finest olive oils in the world. The collection of the olive fruit is performed with special care and then follows the process of crashing with the method of cold extraction. The result is crystal clear golden-green and perfectly balanced olive oil with rich, fruity flavour and low acidity. Cretan olive mill operates in modern facilities for olive fruit crushing, olive oil bottling and storing, using ISO 22000 BRC IFS KOSHER quality assurance systems.
