CAMP CHRISTMAS
Camp Christmas is a dazzling dreamscape made just for you. It’s an invitation to leave your worries behind and lean in to the joy of the season. It’s an opportunity to remember, reconnect, and recharge. It’s fun, fleeting, and just a little bit weird. It’s everything you love about the holidays all wrapped up into one enchanting experience! Ticket price includes transportation and after Camp snacks.
Ages: All Fee: $25 (ages 2 and under are free) Dates: Dec. 11 (registration closes Nov. 10) Day/time: Sunday, 3–9 p.m. Location: Depart from the MAC at 1:30 p.m.
ADVANCED HIKING
If you’re looking for a hiking opportunity without crowded trails and summits, look no further than Colorado “thirteeners”. This 13er experience offers a nearly identical experience as the state’s 14ers, but with far more solitude, peace and quiet. Mt. Spalding Trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route 2.3 mile out-and-back.

LOCAL AND REGIONAL HIKES 2022
Local and Front Range hikes are easy to moderate, 3–5 miles at a 1–1.5/mph. pace. Travel time up to 1.5 hours from Castle Rock. Hikers will meet at the trailhead at 9 a.m. unless the hike is outside Castle Rock, then meet at the MAC at 8 a.m. for transportation. Local hikes are free and regional hikes are $10. Registration is required for both local and regional hikes.

Including the pool, Nerf Wars and some of the best counselors around, this exciting program, in combination with other provided amenities, will give kids the opportunity to stay up late, socialize with new and old friends and participate in some fun-filled activities! The Parks and Recreation Department has established a group of teens in seventh through twelfth grades to assist with the general planning, preparation and organizing of events and activities in Town. Group members act as the voice for teens in Castle Rock by expressing their opinions and ideas as they relate to the activities for youth in the community. Athletes will participate in small and large group instruction, drills, games, and/or scrimmages for basketball and volleyball.

FULL DAY CAMP
ATHLETICS & ADVENTURE CAMP BREAK | ROCK REC
RockRec offers a unique balance of a traditional day camp experience in the familiar setting of our beautiful and safe 300-acre Philip S. Miller Park. With a combination of outstanding amenities, exciting programming and energetic counselors, our structured and fun day camp will be the perfect place for your child.
Each day of camp will be a new and exciting experience for our campers as no two days with RockRec are exactly alike. Our days will begin with Morning Kick-off before moving on to an assortment of organized activities where campers and counselors will get to know each other. Camp counselors will review the day’s schedule and sing our special camp song. The rest of the day will be spent participating in a wide variety of activities that may include the following:
• Daily swimming • Hiking • Kickball • Arts & crafts • Nerf games • Team building • Adventure Playground, sports, crafts, swimming, field trips and more.
RockRec Camp takes place Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Before and after camp care is available for $5 per visit. Before care starts at 7:30 a.m. and after care ends at 5 p.m.

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION CAMP
NSCD OUTDOOR ADVENTURE CAMP
During this camp, athletes will explore the Front Range through a variety of outdoor recreation experiences including Canoeing & Kayaking, Archery, Parkour, 10m Air Rifle, and Outdoor Rock Climbing. Through the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD), we rethink ability through personal challenge in the enriching atmosphere of the outdoors. Through these experiences, participants can learn important lessons about themselves and others such as finding new healthy hobbies/ activities, increasing overall fitness/quality of life, and meeting some new friends while having fun.

HALF DAY CAMP

Athletics Camps are designed for youth ages 7–12. Athletes will participate in small and large group instruction, drills, games, and/or scrimmages for basketball and volleyball.

CLAY CREATIONS AND CRAFTS CAMP
This wonderful camp is designed to promote creativity, imagination and self-confidence. Children will explore their talents and strengths hand building with clay along with painting their creations. They will also be making other craft projects that are fun, challenging and exciting.

FAIRYTALE PRINCESS CAMP
Dance Exploration Camps are a whimsical exploration into the world of dance with the help of fantasy, creativity and imagination! We will take your child on a journey with the use of music, props, backdrops, costumes and real life characters!
