Leading Ladies Luncheon
The 2nd Annual Leading Ladies Scholarship Luncheon was held Thursday, April 13. Humboldt High School’s Thomas Ray Boykin Gymnasium was transformed into a spectacular arena of splendor as attendees gathered at tables adorned with a variety of colorful business and organizational themes.
“Its a scholarship program gifting for high school seniors with scholarship money for college and business and organizations in the community sponsor tables and donate to support the scholarship,” said HHS alum Regina Hunt.

Dr. Mechelle Moragne recently graduated from the National Links Leadership Academy Cohort IV on April 1, 2023 in Washington D.C. The Links Leadership Academy is a six month incubator program with four learning tracks which included the Entrepreneurship Track, Education Track, Non Profit Track and Business Track. Fifty one fellows were selected by application process which included a written essay from over hundreds of applicants from 299 National Link Chapters. The program culminated in a presentation of a capstone project in Washington DC. Dr. Mechelle Moragne was present for the the Links at the U.S. Capitol and then the graduating ceremony in Washington, D.C.
