TWO MEN CHARGED IN 2017 FAYETTE COUNTY MURDER Bobby Richardson, Jr. (DOB 7-28-94)

MEMPHIS – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, working alongside investigators from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, have obtained indictments for two men in connection to a 2017 homicide. At the request of former 25th District Attorney General Mike Dunavant, TBI Agents began investigating the death of 20-year-old Andrew Deaundrey Curtis-Terry on May 25, 2017, shortly after authorities found his body with gunshot wounds inside a wrecked 2006 Nissan Xterra near the intersection of Highway 195 and Taylor Drive near Somerville. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information leading to Bobby Richardson, Jr. (DOB 7-28-94) and Tordarius Quentrev Rhodes (DOB 11-30-96) as the individuals responsible for the crime. On Monday, the Fayette County Grand Jury returned indictments, charging each man with one count of First Degree Premeditated Murder, one count of First Degree Murder, one count of Especially Aggravated Robbery, one count of Theft, one count of Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Premeditated Murder, one count of Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Murder, one count of Conspiracy to Commit Especially Aggravated Robbery, and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Theft. Today, Agents served Richardson, Jr. (LEFT BELOW) at a Tennessee Department of Correction facility, where he remains incarcerated on unrelated charges. Agents also served Rhodes (RIGHT BELOW) with his charges today at the Fayette County Jail, where he remains incarcerated on unrelated charges.
SAVANNAH WOMAN INDICTED ON THEFT CHARGE JACKSON – An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Savannah woman, who is charged with stealing from her former employer. At the request of 24th District Attorney General Matt Stowe, in December 2017, TBI Agents began investigating an allegation of theft from Bob’s Discount Pharmacy on Pickwick Street in Savannah. During the course of the investigation, Agents developed information that indicated Teresa Crumby, who had managed the deposits at the store, was responsible for the theft of approximately $90,000 to $100,000 from March 2016 through May 2017. On July 16th, the Hardin County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Teresa King Crumby (DOB 03/23/1967) with one count of Theft over $60,000. On Tuesday, Crumby was arrested and booked into the Hardin County Jail, and was released on her own recognizance.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was arrested after police said she filed a false report in connection to the recent murder of a father of nine. On July 11, officers were called to the 2400 block of Keen Road where they located a 33-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound. The victim had reportedly been involved in a disagreement with a known individual prior to the shooting. They didn’t say what the argument was about, but the father was eventually shot while driving down the street. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the front of a home. On Tuesday, WREG learned a day after that shooting a woman identified as Helen Carr called police and told them she was present when the incident occurred.She stated she was following a dark blue vehicle down the street when the driver fired shots at the victim. However, surveillance video obtained during the investigation suggests that’s not what happened. Officer said the video showed the suspect was driving a white car. In addition, the suspect was seen inside Carr’s vehicle prior to the shooting. Carr was questioned again by police but refused to change her statement. She was arrested and charged with false reporting. It’s unclear if additional charges are pending.
HARDIN COUNTY MAN INDICTED, CHARGED IN RAPE INVESTIGATION JACKSON – A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Savannah Police Department has resulted in the indictment of a Savannah man in connection to the sexual assault of a woman in April. Ê At the request of 24th District Attorney General Matthew Stowe, TBI Agents began investigating the April 10th incident, which occurred in the early morning hours at a home on Lake Circle. During the course of the investigation, authorities developed information leading to Adam Grant Arnold (DOB 1-20-88) as the individual responsible for the crime. On July 16th, the Hardin County Grand Jury returned an indictment, charging Arnold with one count of Rape.

Murder charges filed following South Memphis wreck,␣ shooting POSTED 5:25 AM, JULY 23, 2018, BY␣ ER YN TAYLOR --wreg.com MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men are now behind bars after allegedly killing a man and injuring several others following a car accident on Friday. Darion “Nu-Nu” Davis and Mardi Maxwell turned themselves in and were charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and the employment of a Darion “Nu-Nu” Davis firearm during a felony. Davis was also charged with being a and Mardi Maxwell convicted felon in possession of a gun. According to police, the victims flagged down police at the corner of Marjorie and Tampa after someone opened fire on them, striking Harold Hayes and several other people inside a black GMC Yukon Denali. The victims said they were traveling southbound on Ely Street when their vehicle hit another parked car. When they attempted to pull over and check for damage, the suspects opened fire. Witness and victim statements along with photo lineups positively identified the suspects as Davis and Maxwell. Both men turned themselves in Sunday.
Mid-South woman accused of shooting boyfriend in the␣ chest POSTED 7:29 AM, JULY 24, 2018, BY␣ ER YN TAYLOR - wreg.com MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Mid-South woman was arrested after she allegedly shot her boyfriend inside a southwest Memphis home.
Defendant Monika Washington told police she and her boyfriend got into a physical altercation early Monday morning. Fearing for her life, she said she grabbed a gun off the floor and shot him once in the chest. The wound sent him to the hospital in critical condition, police said. Investigators said they were unable to find any obvious signs of physical abuse. She did have a cut on her arm, but Washington wouldn’t say where it came from. Another person inside the Gilleas home at the time also told authorities he didn’t hear any type of altercation happening. All he heard was the gunshot. When he ran to find out what happened, he saw Washington holding the gun and standing over the victim. Investigators determined Washington was the primary aggressor and took her into custody. She was charged with aggravated assault.
