GIBSON COUNTY LAKE REPORT

Thursday, 08-23-2018

West Tennessee OUTDOORS

Gibson County Lake is famous for big bass but this past weekend Kyle Duck went after with Ray Jones those big blue gills and SEND THOSE PHOTOS TO shell crackers instead. numberonecoach@hotmail.com or 731-694-8614. Although the lake is mostly known for big bass there is plenty of water left for the abundance of other species available also. It is often overlooked for the pan fish and not as much pressure is on the lake for them. There have been reports of blue gills biting crickets real good and shell crackers are being caught with worms closer to the bottom. Kyle started out fishing for bass but after the bass fishing slowed he started bream fishing and turned it into a great day of fishing. Even though most people boat fish at Gibson County Lake there is a pier and many people fish from the banks with good success. Try Gibson County Lake the next time you want to fish a beautiful lake in the Great Outdoors of West Tennessee and take the kids with you. Photo is Kyle Duck and a slab Shell Cracker.

When asked what her response was to being the first African AmericanÊTrustee, she commented, “I have worked in banking for over 17 years, soÊI am well-accustomed to at times being the only person who looks like me in theÊroom, so I didn’t even consider that I am the first African American toÊbe elected to this office. I only considered my resume, civic andÊcommunity engagement and that I am a transformational leader who hasÊbeen fixing areas that needed improvement for several years for FortuneÊ100 & 500 companies. I am truly humbled and take the honor as a serious one to serve in public office.” Wiggins was born and raised in Haywood County, graduating from HaywoodÊHigh School in 1993. She has since gone on to have an illustrious careerÊin banking, serving in a variety of financial services managementÊpositions. Most recently she served as Regional Manager for Capital BankÊwhere she oversaw consumer banking for 32 branches in Middle Tennessee.Ê She and her husband, O’Neal, also developed Wiggins MedicalÊTransit in 2012, a company that focuses on transporting elderly andÊdisabled clients to medical, family and personal appointments withÊfaster than industry response times. Today, Wiggins resides in Clarksville with her husband, a retired U.S.ÊArmy Master Sergeant.”I am blessed by our Heavenly Father & owe a huge thank you to those who influenced and shaped my life,Êwith my mother at the helm and still is my life counselor,” WigginsÊadded. “Also to Mr. Sonny Howse, Vicky (his Chief Deputy) and his teamÊfor welcoming me when I wanted to shadow well-run offices. Mr. SonnyÊtold me I would win; just keep that same attitude of learning, beÊaccountable and balance to the penny.” Madison County Probate 110 Irby Street, Room 102 Jackson, TN 38301 (731)988-3025
