Dear Friends & First Time Guests, Thank you for joining us at The Crossing today as we remember what God has done for us and what He is doing among us. As we finish our “Momentum” teaching series, I see God building momentum here at The Crossing and through it, we are becoming the church I have dreamed of for years. Each passing day God is changing our hearts and making us into a people of promise. If this is your first time here, we pray that you will enjoy a time of remembrance and join us in celebrating an amazing God! In Him, Greg and Tamara Dumas

Crossing Kids May Monthly Focus: Kingdom - When I become who God wants me to be I will change the world. Kids can so easily get caught up in their own world they rarely look around to see if God has something more for their life. What is God’s mission? During the month of May CrossingKids will take a look at the parable of the lost sheep, The Great Commission and how we can gain the respect and privilege to speak into the lives of others. The fourth week of May we’ll dig into the Romans Road and teach kids what it means to lead someone to Christ. The last week there will be a special Missions focused weekend, a mini-mission’s conference. Join us in praying for CrossingKids this month as we learn what it means to be Kingdom Focused.

Lectio Divina. We live in a fast paced world, and our time with God seems to be no exception. This next series, “Lectio Divina” is going to help students slow down and discover the art of listening, meditation, prayer, and contemplation. We will see a student ministry that is fervently praying.

Scholarships Needed! We are in desperate need of scholarships for students to attend Summer Camp. You could be a part of changing a student’s life by giving them an opportunity to encounter God! Contact Pastor Tom at tfox@crossingonline.org today!

LIFEGROUPS Use the following as a resource for your LifeGroup to go deeper with this week’s message. We hope this helps you as you “do life together”. Opener: Pastor Greg talked a lot about monuments this weekend and we have seen a monument set up at The Crossing Church this past weekend. We all have monuments (testimonials, testaments or tributes or memorials) in our lives such as class rings as a testament of our school years. Take turns sharing some monuments in your lives. What makes them special? Why do we hold them dear and keep them? Digging Deeper: Monuments in the Bible were often made to memorialize the movement of God and His people. What is the greatest movement of God in your life to date? Why? What is the second greatest movement of God in your life to date? Why? What monuments do you have of those important moves of God? How is your life a monument of them? How will the next generation know of the move of God in your life? Application: Consider how you can apply the following scriptures to your life. How can you make a monument of them going forward? Maybe it’s writing in your journal, a commitment to Romans 12:1-2. Maybe it’s printing a paper to be made into a plaque stating; “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” You could even date it and have the family sign it—that’s a monument! Share with the group how you plan on doing this and report back on your progress next meeting. “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
