Die YAAAS! Jugendschiene umfasst Filmvermittlung, Erwerb von Medienkompetenz und DIY-Videoproduktion für Jugendliche. Die sechs Spiefilme der YAAAS! Competition wurden von den Young Programmers nominiert. The YAAAS! Youth Program includes film education, media competence and DIY video production for young people. The six feature films of the YAAAS! Competition were nominated by the Young Programmers.

YAAAS! Jugendschiene Die YAAAS! Jugendschiene umfasst ein ganzheitliches Angebot an Filmvermittlung, Erwerb von Medienkompetenz und DIYVideoproduktion für Jugendliche von 15 bis 20. Diese erhalten die Chance, sich mit Medienprofis auszutauschen, neue Fertigkeiten praxisnah zu erlernen, Filme zu sehen und zu diskutieren sowie eigene Arbeiten zu präsentieren. YAAAS! versteht sich als Ergänzung zum Medienunterricht, es geht um die Förderung der Medienkompetenz durch praktische Arbeit mit dem Medium Film und dessen Rezeption. Say YAAAS!

YAAAS! Young Programmers Sechs Jugendliche (siehe oben), die die HBLA für künstlerische Gestaltung Linz besuchen, wurden eingeladen, sechs aktuelle europäische Spielfilme für die YAAAS! Competition zu kuratieren. Zudem übernehmen sie Einführungen und Q&As bei den YAAAS! Filmscreenings und betreuen YAAAS! Teilnehmer*innen.

YAAAS! Competition & Jugendjury Die Wettbewerbstitel (siehe S. 26 + 27) wurden von den YAAAS! Young Programmers nominiert und werden von der YAAAS! Jugendjury (siehe S. 11) bewertet, die an ihren Favoriten den mit YAAAS! Jugendjury Award (€ 3.000,- powered by VdFS) vergibt. Drei Filme werden als Schulvorstellungen angeboten.

YAAAS! Workshoprally & YAAAS! Videoprojekt Bei der YAAAS! Workshoprally gibt es die Möglichkeit sich in verschiedenen Fachgebieten (u.a. Kamera, Digitale Animation, Aus- stattung, Sound) praktisch weiterzubilden. Im Rahmen des YAAAS! Videoprojekts reali- sieren Jugendliche in Teams eigene Filmbeiträge innerhalb von sechs Tagen.

EN YAAAS! Youth Program YAAAS! Youth Program comprises a holistic offer of film education, acquisition of media competence and DIY video production for young people from 15 to 20. They get the chance to exchange ideas with media professionals, learn new skills in a practical way, watch and discuss films and present their own work. YAAAS! understands itself as a supplement to media lessons; it is about promoting media competence through practical work with the medium film and its reception. Say YAAAS!

YAAAS! Young Programmers Six young people (see above) attending the HBLA für künstlerische Gestaltung Linz were invited to curate six current European feature films for the YAAAS! Competition. In addition, they will take over introductions and Q&As at the YAAAS! film screenings and supervise YAAAS! participants.

YAAAS! Competition & Youth Jury The competition titles (see p. 26 + 27) were nominated by the YAAAS! Young Programmers and will be judged by the YAAAS! Youth Jury (see p. 11), who will award their favourite the YAAAS! Youth Jury Award (€ 3.000,- powered by VdFS). Three films will be offered as school screenings.

YAAAS! Workshop Rally & YAAAS! Video Project The YAAAS! Workshop Rally offers the opportunity to get practical training in various fields (e.g. camera, digital animation, equipment, sound). Within the framework of the YAAAS! Video Project, young people work in teams to produce their own film contributions within six days.
