Easter, Good Friday. That one word—

everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day….whoever believes has eternal life” (John 6:40, 47).
It is finished—paid in full! Christ’s resurrection was God’s “Amen!” to Jesus’ “It is finished!” “God raised him up… because it was not possible for him to be held by [death]” (Acts 2:24).
