How to Apply

Our Admissions team is here to help. If you have any questions or problems with the application process don’t hesitate to get in touch and a member of our friendly team can guide you through it.

1. Choose your course

Studying a higher education course is a big commitment, so it is worth spending the time to research what course is most suited to your needs and career ambitions, and what we can offer you. Visit our Open Events to find out more.

2. Meet the entry requirements

Check you meet the entry requirements for your chosen programme before applying. Requirements differ from course to course but typically for Level 4 study and above you should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.

3. Explore the University Centre and what’s on offer

Meet staff and students, ask questions and find out more about your chosen course by exploring our website or attending an Open Event. Most of our Open Events are held online.

4. How to apply

Apply via UCAS for a university degree course. (www.ucas.com). Use our online enrolment form for other higher education courses. We offer impartial advice and guidance if you decide you no longer want to pursue the course you’ve applied for.

5. After you apply

We will inform you as soon as possible about the status of your application. All applicants are required to have an interview with a course leader. Don’t worry, we will guide you through this process.

6. Accept your offer

We will send you an offer if your application is successful. You must let us know if you intend to take our offer so we can prepare for your arrival on the course. Once you’ve accepted, we will send you information on the enrolment process and to prepare you for starting your higher education journey with us.

Applying through UCAS

For full-time undergraduate courses including foundation degrees, you must apply through UCAS.

Applying through UCAS Clearing

From the end of June 2021, you can apply via UCAS Clearing. Firstly, call us. If we have a place available and you meet the entry criteria we will give you an informal offer over the phone. You will then need to add University Centre Croydon as your Clearing choice in UCAS Track. To find out if we have a place on your preferred course, please contact our dedicated Admissions Team who will be able to assist you with the Clearing process. If you would like more information about a particular university degree course, please attend one of our virtual open events.
