WELCOME

Dear Students,

A very warm welcome to Croydon College, I am delighted that you have chosen to study with us and sincerely hope that your time here is successful and enjoyable.

We want to give you the best chance to achieve your ambitions, whether they are to progress to a higher level of study or to help you get a job. Whatever you want to do, we are here to provide the best possible support, advice and guidance.

In this handbook you will find a complete guide to the College’s support services, what and where they are, and how you can get in touch with them. Please use these services, as they are here to help you and will support you to make the most of your time at the College and prepare you well for your next steps.

In enrolling at Croydon College you become part of our supportive College Community, and have access to a wide range of expertise to support your success. We are here to support our students in any way we can, from study skills to career advice, support with learning difficulties and disabilities services to help with your wellbeing and health, and a Safeguarding Team to help keep you safe.

You join us during what is an unusual time, with COVID-19 altering many aspects of our daily routines and causing much uncertainty and some anxiety. The wellbeing of our students is a priority; it is very important that if you are facing a difficulty which is affecting your study, please do ask for help whenever you need it and we will do our very best to help and support you.

Wishing you a successful and enjoyable academic year.
