L'IL STRIDERS (4-6 yrs. old)

L'il Striders is built around five 45-minute sessions of learning, fun, socialization, and instruction sure to ignite a passion for riding. Upon completion of the course, children will have the balance and bike handling skills to be on their way to riding on two wheels. Bikes are included for class use.

MUCK-N-MESS

Dress your kids in their play clothes and come ready to get mucky and messy! Your kids will have a blast getting their hands ooey and gooey while creating artwork, completing science experiments, and playing messy! Parent participation is encouraged. This class is virtual through Zoom. Explore, create or survive! Mine deep into the Minecraft world and create the future! In this creative camp, challenge the odds, craft your own kinds of weapons, and build dream worlds using code. Do this while also learning fundamental programming concepts, level design, and problem-solving skills. You will make use of ready-made coding blocks to create mini versions of Minecraft games. CREATE ANIMATIONS WITH JAVASCRIPT

This class is virtual through Zoom. Paint and tell a story from your perspective all with code. Express your creative side by learning how to create gripping animations and transitions using Javascript. With a snap, you’ll create interactive web-based animations that look really cool! In this course, students have used code to simulate a sunrise and sunset, simulate the Fibonacci sequence, and recreated the classic snake and pong games that can be played directly in the browser. Amazing stuff for your portfolio! Your child will learn how to develop web-based Javascript animation. ROBLOX CODING

Become a Roblox game wiz using LUA! Create versions of your fairytale universe with Roblox. Roblox studio has all the tools to make your wildest gaming imaginations a reality. In this class, you and other passionate kids will learn how to make use of the many tools on Roblox to code terrific games, relaying your imaginative capabilities to the world. Through drag and drop techniques, you’ll be creating extensions to the Roblox game while fostering your creativity and learning real-world computer coding. Your child will learn How to program within Roblox Studio using the LUA programming language. They will learn how to use the Roblox Studio 3D game engine by designing a 3D world, scripting different objects, de-bugging code, and by learning the lifecycle of game development.

This class is virtual through Zoom. In this class, students will work up to advanced coding concepts through interactive lessons and mini-projects. Students will acquire critical problem-solving and computational thinking skills. Your child will learn how to use variables, problem-solving, loops, and methods. This will all be incorporated into creating their own games and projects! Students will be placed in the appropriate level based on their experience/age: Intro (Game-Based Python); Intermediate (Intro to Text-Based Coding); and Advanced (Advancing Text-Based Coding).
