Sydney: Parking is available at the Wilson Car Park, 155 George Street, under the Cahill Expressway and adjacent to the Four Seasons Hotel. It’s about a five-minute walk to/from the terminal. Parking can also be found at the Sydney Opera House Car Park, located at 2 Macquarie St. They offer a Cruise-In Saver of $20* per day, but you’ll need to pre-book at Book A Bay online.

• As a guide, for cruises of 3-5 nights, we suggest keeping your luggage to one bag per person. And for cruises of 6 days or longer, no more than two bags per person. Remember, there are laundry facilities on board and also shops.
• In addition, you must carry with you any boarding documentation (passports, Visas, ID) valuables, medications and any items that require special handling.
• To fit easily into a stateroom, each bag should be no bigger than 140cm x 60cm x 40cm. Please note that airlines may have different luggage restrictions.
• Take a small carry-on bag with a change of clothes, swimming costume and any medication you may need to use while you wait for your luggage.

Deposit terms
Your booking is not secure until we receive a deposit. Deposits must be received within three (3) days from the date the booking is made. If payment is not received within this time, your booking will be automatically cancelled. Once we have received payment on a booking, a legally binding agreement on the Carnival Cruise Ticket Contract becomes effective between all guests on the booking(s) and Carnival plc. Depending on the proximity of the sailings or availability of inventory, full deposit or final payment may be required sooner. All guests on the same booking must travel on the same fare type. From time to time, we may release promotional fares that have different payment conditions. Please ensure you check the payment conditions at time of booking.

Cancellations & refunds
Reservations will be held until 30 minutes prior to departure. No refunds will be made in the event of ‘no shows’, unused tickets, lost tickets, interruptions, partially used tickets, or cancellations received less than 14 days prior to departure or after the start of the cruise. For cancellation charges related to group bookings, partial ship charters or full ship charters, refer to your charter contract or group booking agreement for terms and conditions.

‘Total fare’ is the total amount payable to us for your booking. Any additional fees charged by airlines due to cancellation will also be passed on to guests. Please note, promotional fares may have different cancellation and refund conditions. Please ensure you check these at time of booking.
Travel insurance
The Immigration Authorities of New Caledonia have advised that guests who do not hold international travel insurance that covers medical costs, repatriation and other expenses may be refused entry into New Caledonia. We strongly recommend that you purchase appropriate
international travel insurance for your Carnival Cruise. If you do not purchase travel insurance, you may not be able to recover cancellation charges, medical costs, repatriation and other expenses that may arise if things do not go according to plan. Carnival Cruise Line has a dedicated white label page for customers to purchase travel insurance online through Cover-More Travel Insurance: https://secure.covermore.com.au/carnival/. If you would like to find out more in regard to whether you should get travel insurance, please visit the Smart Traveller website: http://smartraveller.gov.au. Please note that Australian Medicare, New Zealand ACC and private health insurance won’t cover you for onboard medical costs.
Smoking
Smoking on the ship is prohibited in most areas and only allowed in the designated exterior open deck areas. Guests are not allowed to smoke in the stateroom or outside on their balcony.
Minimum age to travel
We welcome children 12 months and over to cruise with us for international departures sailing to/from Australia, and children 6 months and over for domestic cruises. We are unable to accommodate infants under 12 months (international cruises) and 6 months (domestic cruises) due to limited neo-natal facilities on board and at ports of call.
Strict prohibitions for all shipboard whirlpools and water sports
• D iving or jumping into the whirlpools is strictly prohibited. Whirlpools are too shallow for safe diving.
• C hildren must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using or within the vicinity of the whirlpools.
• C hildren who are not toilet trained (and those in diapers or swim nappies) are not allowed in any of the water facilities on board.
• Toilet trained children should be taken on frequent bathroom breaks.
• I mmunocompromised passengers should not use the whirlpools.
• G lass containers must not be taken into the whirlpools.
• Eating while in the whirlpools is strictly prohibited.
• S moking on the ship is prohibited in most areas and only allowed in the designated exterior open deck areas.
• N o horseplay while using or in the vicinity of the whirlpools.
• Please act responsibly at all times.
Cruise itineraries are not guaranteed
Many factors affect our ability to provide any particular itinerary. These include weather, mechanical difficulties, civil unrest or other unforeseen circumstances. We agree to use reasonable endeavours to provide a cruise in accordance with our published schedules and itineraries. However, we do not guarantee itineraries and they do not form part of your contract with us.
Travel restrictions and rights of the Captain
You are responsible for ensuring that no travel restrictions apply to you. If police or any other authority in any jurisdiction notify us of, or we otherwise become aware of any matter that reasonably causes us to believe your presence on board presents a risk to your own health or safety or the health and safety of other guests and crew, we, or the Captain may deny you boarding and may refuse or cancel any bookings from you. A full refund will be provided to any guest denied boarding on this basis. Once the cruise has commenced, if a guest seriously affects the safety, well-being or enjoyment of themselves or any other person on board, the Captain has the right to confine, sedate or disembark the guest. In such cases, we will not provide a refund and we are not responsible for any expenses including your return home. While the Captain will always act reasonably in these circumstances, you accept that the safety, well-being and enjoyment of everyone on board comes first.

Your booking and travel on your Carnival cruise is subject to Carnival’s Cruise Ticket Contract. It is important that you read and understand the cruise contract before you book your cruise.
