A KEY DESTINATION ON THE SAINT LAWRENCE The Port of Montréal is the second most important international cruise port along the Saint Lawrence River. It is also a port of call for river cruises (Saint Lawrence and Great Lakes) and domestic cruises (Montréal – Îles-de-la-Madeleine [Magdalen Islands]).
Conveniently located in the heart of Old Montréal, the Alexandra Pier greets tens of thousands of embarking and disembarking cruise passengers each year. The cruise season begins in early May and winds down in late October.
