Growing up in Richmond, VA, Dante began singing at the age of four from the urging of his Grandmother during church services. Since then, it didn’t take long for others to notice his talent. He began to awe his audiences with the display of his range, strength of his voice, as well as his stage presence. After the passing of his grandmother, Dante vowed to follow what she had envisioned for him. “I’m not going to stop until the world knows Dante LyriQ” he proclaims. Along the way, he has been afforded the opportunities to perform as the opening act for Trey Songz, J. Holiday, Lloyd, Sammie, Lyfe Jennings, Kem, and Bow Wow’s “Price of Fame” Tour at the Richmond Coliseum. Dante continues to win the hearts of many on his musical journey. NOTORIETY Featured Duo In a Hip Hop universe where the Hip Hop group is becoming less and less common, two Boston neighborhood friends went against the odds. Vital Silveira (Vydle Sinez) and Charles Monfort (Incredible Chuck) came together to form Notoriety in early 2009 with the hopes of raising the bar for both solo performers and other duo’s alike. Remaining rooted in boom-bap and old school Hip Hop production, the pair also brought a creative approach to their art including adding elements such as beatboxing and singing to their music. Their winning combination is making quality music and keeping their core small while using their success to give shine to others in their community. Notoriety may be a Hip Hop duo, but behind that duo is the small but powerful management team of Matt Whitlock and Sam John. Whitlock specializes on the group’s digital presence while Sam John handles the physical aspects of the group dynamic. This formula has proven to be a highly impactful one. With this four-man team, Notoriety has amassed a large amount of popularity - while humbly maintaining a pretty low-key profile. Over the last 4 years, the duo has performed at their hometown Boston’s CollegeFest, collaborated with the likes of Rapper Big Pooh (of Little Brother), Statik Selektah, Joe Scudda and others. Additionally providing an energetic live show, Notoriety has also shared the stage with Saigon, Pac Div, Wale, Stalley, People Under The Stairs, REKS, Statik Selektah and more. In the midst of all their success, the group has stayed grounded and never forgotten their Boston roots. Last August, the duo released a project entitled “The Ground Table” which featured a plethora Boston Hip Hop artists on every track. In the meantime, let’s address an issue and the topic is lying that gets out of hand because the individual lives in a fairyland taking you through their wonderland. (Oh Really!) They are convinced they’ve been to Thailand or Switzerland; I know some will understand exactly what I’m saying. (Oh Really!) Sit back and relax because those aren’t facts, as a matter of fact where’s the proof at come with more than that; on the other hand, it’s amazing the characters we can attract, it’s like pulling a rabbit out of a hat. They will continuously bump their gums and the whole time you’re thinking “this sucka must think I’m dumb” (Oh really!) When you hear some gossip and it’s brought to your attention that you’re the topic. Let the response be (Oh Really!), y’all need to stop it those rumor’s aren’t legit, but you can point me in the direction of the culprit who invented this myth for their benefit, so we can address these issues real quick. Tic Toc watch their tone get so loud you don’t hear a sound then they will start to frown, but hey it’s cool to smile because soon the circus will come to town and who knows you might be their favorite clown.
