VERB TO BE The verb to be is used to describe the characteristics of someone or something. Or to place someone or something into space. We use the verb to be with adjectives, emotions, or feelings.
Ex. English: The girl is pretty (This is describing the characteristic of the girl) Ex. They a re in New York (This tells you the place/location where you can find them)

NEGATIVE STATEMENTS The negative statement always uses the negative expression “NOT” after the auxiliar. In this tense the auxiliars are “Does not/Doesn’t” and “Do not/ Don’t”. HE, SHE , IT I, YOU, WE, THEY

Demonstratives We use words such as “This”, “That”, “These”, “Those” to locate things in space. We use “This” and “That” in singular and “These” , “Those” in plural.
