As you begin your journey to learn how to speak the Spanish language, you will find your progress going much easier if you practice speaking Spanish every chance you get and listen to native Spanish speakers as much as possible. DVRs work great for this purpose because you can rewind and listen to words you miss the first time. The point is to supplement your formal Spanish learning as much as you can and listen to native speakers whenever possible. There are some great courses available that can greatly lesson the time it takes to become a fluent or even just a passable speaker of the Spanish language.
