2013 Jamboree Review As a Venturer, you are supposed to have fun and work on advancement. Also, you’re to recruit either as a unit or as an individual. As an individual, you can go out and recruit or spread the excitement by word of mouth. You would be surprised with how much word of mouth would get someone interested in Venturing. Another way to recruit is by carrying around some type of Venturing material with you and explain the fun you have in the program. Holding conversations with people and keeping them interested will make their mind up for them. Peer to peer recruiting is the method to this madness. Also, a great way for getting people to join your crew is by bringing them to a meeting or a fun event with your crew. Or, you can get their number and invite them to JOIN YOUR WONDERFUL CREW! Get them involved somehow into your crew to keep you membership increasing. Lastly, remember it’s everyone’s duty to recruit new members, so go out and RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT! And of course, HAVE FUN!
