Saratoga Hospital Volunteer Guild Offers Scholarships
SARATOGA COUNTY – The Saratoga Hospital Volunteer Guild is again offering three $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in Saratoga County who are planning to enter a college curriculum in a medical field including, but not limited to, pre-med, nursing, bio-medical research, pharmacy, medical technology, X-ray technology, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, physician’s assistant, mental health, occupational therapy, and health care management. The senior must be entering a college program in a medical field in September 2011, have a cumulative high school average of 80% or higher, and have a record of interest and involvement in community service. Application forms are available at the Guidance Office of all area high schools or from the Volunteer Office of Saratoga Hospital 583-8447. The application deadline is April 5, 2011. (A)
