With every article, the Vampire of disinformation plunged its cutting teeth deep into the necks of many weak-handed and uninformed crypto enthusiasts, creating a black hole of new technologies that seemed to float around in a dead space of uncertainty. The tactic remained empowered and fully fueled with the rise in BTC, creating a graveyard of devastated altcoins whose carcasses litter the landscape like the bodies of devastated soldiers in trench warfare WW1-style. With so much misinformation and the mainstream media pushing for people to see Crypto as purely a speculative currency at best, it is vital that the few remaining technologies that have underlying value work in harmony to firstly protect and secondly project the truth of Crypto as a whole. We must work diligently to illustrate in the simplest way possible, that there are forces at work with everything to lose, if we, the pioneers of crypto, are left alone to create decentralised applications that allow the distribution of everything important, from money and contracts, to pay slips and land titles, to loans and international value transfers.

PERFORMANCE Significant milestones were met in the previous year leading to appointments that were well-deserved. With MX taking a Co-Director role within CORE Group, he has been an inspiration to the entire executive team and to the NXT community. With such a great knowledge base and a 'can do' attitude, he has sparked many new ideas and pushed forward strategies that seek to underpin our position in the NXT community and encompass a group ideal. He was instrumental in the creation and adaptation of CORE MEDIA and consequently solidified his role as the Executive Director of same. Futurist became an official 'Partner' of CORE Group with such dedication and attention to detail. As Asset Strategy Committee Chair, his strategizing of our Asset accumulation has been a difficult task with much 'blood in the streets' but he has managed to mitigate significant write-downs with a good focus on reliable assets and maintaining decisive strategies. He is considered a Founder of CORE Group and has been allocated a percentage of CORE Founder shares.

3rdStryker became an official 'Partner' of CORE Group with an equivalent amount of dedication. As 'Editor in Chief' of the CORE Magazine, his work load is quite demanding. Most in the the NXT community know of 3rdStryker and his presence is warmly welcomed. He is a well-rounded individual who takes after my own heart in terms of charity-driven efforts and, with keen a sense of fair play, has proven beyond a doubt his worthy inclusion into the Senior Executive Role. 3rdStryker is also considered a Founder of CORE Group and has been allocated a percentage of CORE Founder shares. Lootz has worked incredibly hard over these last couple of months to bring life to CORE MEDIA. As an IT professional taking on the role as its 'Chief Systems Engineer', he is an essential ingredient in laying the foundation and compiling a fantastic portal for CORE MEDIA was his initial assignment. He has been a breath of fresh air to our crew at times when we most needed it. With his 'lighter side of life' attitude and his health conscious mindset, he has brought something to the table that is sorely needed in crypto, that of a healthy mind and healthy body producing healthy results. Lootz has also wound up the SuperNET RADIO show which is now CORE RADIO and runs under the CORE MEDIA ASSET umbrella. He is considered a Founder of CORE MEDIA and has been allocated a percentage of CORE MEDIA Founder shares. Infinitechaos has finally settled in after relocating to a new state and has rejoined the fold to continue on his Public Relations portfolio that was charged to him. His abilities as a writer and copy analyst are indispensable and will be sure to propel him into the Founders league of Executives. Additionally, he is at the forefront of the Coin Strategy Committee and always vigilant at protecting and enhancing our treasury holdings. Look forward to hearing more as his appointment nears ratification. Damon has been tremendously influential with his timely articles and depth of knowledge in areas that are close to the bone. It is significant to understand that much of the community in Crypto development and speculator circles are driven by something much more urgent and satisfying than profit and loss accounts. Damon's ability to articulate this message in meaningful dialogue has brought a sense of reality to CORE Group supporters. With his connections outside of Crypto reaching deep into the inner circles of alternative lifestyle communities, his efforts are well-received and potentially position CORE Group to be an extended hand of friendship. Damon will be promoted to a Senior Executive post in due course. Sigwo's energy, along with his bright and 'matter of fact' interjections, have been wellreceived. As our resident Developer, he has been working behind the scenes to bring the CORE platform together. It has been a pleasure for CORE Group to watch Sigwo's rise in popularity and his tech is beginning to show signs of the genius that we continue to nurture to fruition. His potential to become a Senior Executive is vast and close enough to taste.

THE HORIZON Commitments and personal events have dogged us all over the year, myself included. Nonetheless, although quiet, you can rest assured that the remaining crew members are looking for that window of opportunity to stamp their presence and bring something to the Group that will improve performance, align relations and/or achieve results.

As mentioned, CORE Group changes. We are looking to change our Brand Design to follow with our Asset ID name 'CORE'. So wherever you see 'BTCOR' over time it will be replaced by 'CORE' There are only two (2) assets that we control directly: CORE and CORE MEDIA. Think of CORE as a funds management facility, similar to a hedge fund with GOLD, SILVER, BTC, Foreign Currencies and CRYPTO Assets and consider CORE MEDIA to be an Advertising and Promotions facility that will manage campaigns for not only CORE but also for Crypto in general. I am personally building my real life business currently, which is why I have been AFK a lot lately. Some of you may have already gotten wind of the idea to bring my brick and mortar business to the blockchain. MX and I have been discussing this for approximately three months. The last couple months' focus has obviously been on the CORE MEDIA release and the essential cooperatives that will ensure its success. Proving to be an organization built on the strength of its leadership, CORE has maintained and proven itself well. This has allowed me the latitude to focus in on the business of running a company. Exciting and exhausting, I have been securing contracts, arranging many quotes and establishing relationships that will push CORE to the next level of integration from Crypto speculation to a fully hands-on product distribution and installation business model. As sole Director, I have been focusing in on operations, suppliers, clients and accounts. This has inevitably caused me to refrain from trading the Forex, Gold and Silver markets, so this component will no longer be a part of CORE operations, saved for exceptional circumstances only. CORE and CORE Media will receive a percentage of the real life business Asset. Over the next month I will be factoring in all operational expenses and charging an accountant to oversee my Business Activity Statement. This is not a speculative or flash-in-the-pan asset since it is my livelihood and I need to take a salary to support my family, so everything needs to be secure, solid and protected. The correct structure needs to be created to ensure all investors are also protected. I will be releasing an initial number of assets to generate some working capital required to ensure we are well positioned to ride the waves of economic tidal variances and put in place the necessary architecture to establish a solid business model.

WRAPPING UP We have come a great distance in such a relatively short span of time. I remember the early days at the beginning of this year like they were some long lost memory. Personalities have come and gone, others have risen to fame. Bitch fights, scandals, thefts and questionable disappearances have been hot potatoes for discussion, but the community survives to fight another day. Let's embrace that same spirit in the coming year. 2016 is setting up to be quite an interesting year in terms of global economy. NXT. org is considered the homepage of NXT and the main place to download the latest NXT wallet. Within the NXT wallet there are many features from crowdfunding to decentralized voting, so it can be a little intimidating for the average Bitcoin user. One problem that NXT had suffered in the past was that there was a lack of documentation and easy infomation and this gave the impression that NXT was not userfriendly. The First NXT Book Successfully Crowdfunded To celebrate NXT`s second birthday, an ambitious project was proposed to publish the very first book about NXT. The project is headed by Ludom and Nxter magazine (CORE Media partner). Originally, the book was only available as an online PDF and it contained articles in five different languages (English, Russian, French, Spanish and Chinese). Sunday Shuffling Party Success! On the 13th of December, NXT successfully shuffled over 1 million test NXT. Shuffling is a new innovative feature of NXT which is set to be rolled out in the next NXT version, 1.7. Shuffling essentially jumbles coins together with an unlimited party of people so that the original coins cannot be traced back to the original owner. This feature adds a layer of anonymity and makes it difficult for outsiders to track transactions. This feature will no doubt please the libertarian crowd. The cost to shuffle your coins is a total of 1000 NXT but it is advised to have extra NXT in your account whilst it is shuffling. In order to shuffle your coins, your client only needs to connect to 2 nodes, however, the more people connecting makes the shuffling more anonymous. SuperNet Project 'Iguana' to Birth a Chrome App, Increase Accessibility of its Technology A new SuperNET project is underway and aims to lay the framework for SuperNET technology to be able to function on any device capable of running a Chrome app. The project, dubbed 'Iguana' has been generating quite the buzz at SuperNET Slack lately after lead developer jl777 announced the project and its corresponding private Slack group intended to keep progress focused and on track in the absence of naysayers, detractors and trolls. When asked to summarize his vision regarding 'Iguana', jl777 described it as a “one click chrome app. It talks direct to the coin networks as a full peer. It is a polyglot client. Same code for BTC and all compatibles. Using native ramchains. This will allow direct integration of Pangea, Instantdex, Peggy, etc., without any reliance on public nodes for anything.” Ramchains are a critical technology in the SuperNET repertoire that will allow many of its functions to be carried out. They are essentially a subset of files on the user’s computer that serve as a lightweight distillation of the blockchain that contain all of the necessary data but take up just a fraction of the hard drive space and computer resources relative to a full blockchain. Ramchains for Bitcoin are estimated to be capable of loading onto a device in as little as 30 minutes and processing within 8 hours. The full Bitcoin blockchain can otherwise take up to one full week to load onto a device.

Furthermore, the Bitcoin ramchain files consume an estimated 15GB of hard drive space, relative to the full Bitcoin blockchain which is currently in excess of 50 GB. Chrome apps are currently limited to 10GB of space so the app will likely be unable to run a full Bitcoin ramchain at first, although solutions are being explored and will eventually be implemented. These lightweight blockchain files are what will allow SuperNET technology to scale across all devices and operating systems, most importantly mobile devices. The extent to which widespread adoption and use of decentralized blockchain technology is achieved is ultimately going to depend on how well it can be implemented into mobile devices and operating environments and 'Iguana' and its underlying ramchain technology is the foundation of SuperNETâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s plans to bring its technology forth to a wider population. Aside from allowing SuperNET technology to scale to mobile devices, jl777 also envisions being able to eventually use the technology in such a way that revenue and dividends generated by Pangea could be automatically processed and distributed, making it perhaps a fully functional decentralized autonomous company. Interview with Svante Lethinen (president of Krypto Fin ry) and Dirk (@verymuchso on nxtforum.org) FIMK lead developer.

FIMK is a cryptocurrency for the Finnish people. What makes this currency different from other similar coins like Auroracoin which aims for a complete national adoption? (Svante Svante): ): Apart from the public image of national ambitions, FIMK doesn't have many similarities to Auroracoin. Its technology is unique, governance different, distribution model more refined, and most importantly it's an international project with domestic focus that does NOT aim for "complete national adoption". FIMK uses national basic income to distribute a third of its coin supply. This is done on opt-in receiver basis, where only the people who are interested opt in and receive a monthly payment (currently 1000 FIMK /month) as long as the 313 million stack lasts. The coin supply thus is very gradual over the years and has nonexistent diluting effect on the markets. The national focus is chosen to drive the first stages of adoption through domestic demand and local merchants.

There is a misconception within the NXT community that NXT clones don't offer any new technology and are riding the success of NXT. What makes FIMK different and could you put this myth to rest? (Svante Svante)) FIMK has since its inception brought numerous unique technical innovations, and has never been riding on the success of NXT (which, face it, is still much unmanifested and thus unable to be ridden on). FIMK brings both technical and non-technical improvements to NXT. To start with, the block target is half of NXT's. Only one third of the coin supply was released at launch, strictly differing from NXT's 71 original stakeholders of the full coin supply, which was amateurish to be frank. The rest is distributed through guaranteed block rewards and national basic income during the first 4-5 years after launch. This in theory causes more equal distribution of the total coin supply.

Since launch FIMK has released regular unique updates to its modular HTML5 client with multi-platform native executables. Instant off-blockchain p2p messaging, instant asset trade matching (virtual AE), private assets, marketplace shopping cart, merchant order notifications, colored accounts to name some of the most prominent differences. (Dirk) Sure all NXT clones are riding the success of NXT. But at the same time NXT is riding the success of Satoshi Nakamoto. Who in turn is riding the success of the NSA inventing the SHA-2 set of cryptographic hash functions. What I'm trying to say is we all are standing on the shoulders of giants. What counts are two things: first, can you understand the work done before you and, second, do you have the vision to improve upon that previous work? I believe we do have that vision. With a much smaller technical team we were able to create a better and realtime client written from scratch. The real-time connectors were not available in NXT so we had to add them to FIMK and we've added them to NXT+ http:// fimkrypto.github.io/nxt-plus-site/. All in all I don't really care about such misconceptions, the people who state these claims are the same people who have been overstating NXT's accomplishments from day one. Such claims are clearly not based on reality, it has more to do with idolization or fan-like behavior. Which is fine in itself of course but has nothing to do with real technical innovations.

The Mofowallet is really well-crafted. What was the motivation behind adding NXT to the mofowallet? (Svante) FIMK's core features go hand-in-hand with the NXT releases, so it's not technically a big deal to carry NXT onboard. We thought it would help both FIMK and NXT users, but sadly we haven't received much feedback from the NXT community although we consider Mofowallet (Lompsa.com) as the most advanced NXT client. (Dirk) When I was hired by FIMK it was my idea to also add NXT to the core client. First, since I felt it was the right thing to do, NXT has given us so much already. Second, back then I figured it might in the future allow for some form of cooperation, perhaps even some cross-chain functionality. Sadly this has not (yet) materialized. As for it being really well-crafted, I'd like to think of it that way before. But as a developer you are always improving and learning new things. Right now all I

Sure most of the core components work really well and will be kept around but you can expect some fundamental changes to be made in the very near future. As far as I'm concerned the current client is just a prototype compared to what we are preparing now.

Do you wish to see a close relationship between FIMK and NXT? (Svante) There already is a close relationship - FIMK applies the NXT updates to its core and Dirk is a member of the NXT core team contributing code know-how on multiple subjects. Sadly the NXT community has been mostly dismissing FIMK's contribution. It would sure be nice to get more recognition for the FIMK features that are truly advanced, useful and unique in the crypto world. It's a pity the misconception of "NXT clone" goes so far as to prevent mutual progress, while FIMK is less of a clone to NXT than Litecoin is a clone of Bitcoin. (Dirk) I have done some work with Lior and Jean-Luc on the standard client. The contact with the NXT developers I experience as a positive thing but working on that client code base is very frustrating because of the way it's coded in the first place. Recently I've been talking with Bas Wisselink (@damelon on NXT forum) about creating a completely new client for NXT, this is something I'm actually pretty excited about. I have been investigating ways to best tackle this since I think I've found the ultimate way to do this. This way we could bring the quality of the client to a similar level as Jean-Luc and the other developers brought NXT server to the level it is now. Bitshares' open ledger front end is nice, but our NXT client will be better.

What new innovations are currently being worked on? (Svante) Offline vouchers and email account format with integration to traditional email messaging will be released soon. FIMK is continually expending human resource efforts to make the NXT blockchain technology get adopted in the traditional banking and Financial Service Providers field. The blockchain hype is a fast-rising trend and our work on this area provides exposure to NXT as well. There are a few promising projects we're collaborating with. We trust one of them will be the catalyst for FIMK breaking big in 2016.

(Dirk) At the server side (that's how I like to call the p2p/blockchain part) probably the biggest innovation will be the offline vouchers. Our implementation of offline vouchers allows anyone to send an unlimited amount of transactions over any non-blockchain channel free of charge! To complete this, a simple rule engine validates these transactions. An example of a rule is: transaction is valid if alias X or asset order price Y equals/is greater than/is less than etc.. Z. This is similar to smart contracts in some ways. The next steps will build upon these free offline vouchers, one of which is an alternative Asset Exchange implementation, one which no longer records bid and sell orders on the blockchain (which makes placing orders free), only asset transfers are recorded (the idea being to use the blockchain only for what it's best suited for). The order book for this new Asset Exchange can be done in two ways, centralized through private parties who provide the central public order book or decentralized through our free two-way/instant peer-2-peer messaging protocol called Gossip. Both solutions are trusted since the order book provider can not steal your funds. We'll probably do both. At the client side we have made the radical decision to move to Angular 2 (which is still in Beta as I write this) and Google Material design. Angular 1 has helped us greatly in creating our current client. Angular 2 is radically different and incompatible with Angular 1. It's a much more mature framework comparable to frameworks like Java (NXT is built on Java) or C#. Angular 2 is no longer written in JavaScript, instead it uses Open Source Microsoft TypeScript which gives us Annotations, Classes, Interfaces and powerful refactoring from your IDE. Because of the modular setup of the current FIMK client we can however copy over the most important parts and translate these directly to TypeScript. Google Material (angular-material to be exact) replaces our current reliance on Twitter Bootstrap CSS framework it uses CSS flexbox layout instead of Bootstrap's limiting column based layout. There will be much better mobile support because of this. With both these new players at the core of our client I expect we can double the amount of work done in the same amount of time. Seated at the edge of the lake we observed how the ice layer reflected solar rays towards our unmoving bodies. We decided to enjoy and to be part of that natural wonder. We put our skates on and we danced on the white ice ring that greeted the sun with its reflections. My friend Mr E Junior began to move away from the icy shore to where the ice was thinnest. 3rdstryker, afraid that the ice would break under him at any moment, called out to not to go so far. Mr E Junior responded to this by turning to face 3rdstryker and jumping on the ice to show her how safe it was, however, by the third jump and to the sound of 3rdstryker screams, he fell into the icy depths. I skated in the ice ring as fast as I could to reach my friend Mr E Junior who fell through the broken ice. I lay down on the ice beside him and gave my arm to my friend to help him out of freezing waters. I didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t even know what to do, I just jumped right in. As I pulled my friend out, he looked at me with dead eyes as if I was taking his life away instead of preserving it. I will never forget those eyes, I was shaking like a leaf for a long time remembering those lifeless eyes.

Twenty years later, I found my wife 3rdstryker having an affair with Mr E in my house as I was returning from a winning war in Europe. I couldnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t control my anger and stabbed my friend. I took the ring from her dead body because I needed some part of her to live within me for the rest of my pointless life. I set the house on fire and sent my dead soul to India. One year later I was living in this tiny house which was between the outskirts of a remote Indian village and a school. I was allowed to live there, as the type of leprosy I suffered from was not contagious. I looked at my deformed hands. The loneliness I felt was unbearable. I was a poor leprosy man with a dropsy body, face was hollow and the colour of my body was grey like a dirty ashtray. My life was not only trapped by the leprosy but also by the memories of the past. I went to the loo. I looked at my thing, it was so different. It's shape changed so much... its colours... everything! As I pulled the chain, my willy fell off into the loo and my most precious thing went off with the water. There was nothing more to live for. I have to find a way to kill myself, abusing alcohol would be a slow death. I needed a fast death.

Suddenly the water from the loo floated upwards, like a hurricane. Was it the alcohol taking effect? What were my eyes witnessing! A hand climbed out of the toilet, grasping my fallen willy. A voice boomed from below, "Have you lost something?" It asked. I was speechless. With a stuttering voice I answered back, "Who the hell is this?".

With a slight pause the Voice boomed back. "I am Roberto the Transpotime Master". There was a big explosion of water that shot my toilet up through the roof. Two individuals, whom I had never seen before, appeared. One of them had their hand outside of a yellow shield. Slowly, the light of the yellow force-field was dimmed. The owner of the hand said to me "May I introduce you to my sidekick Damon?". Damon looked at me and said "run along Mx! Don't wait for your willy to grow back. Go get your skates and drop your booty in one of the Transpotime21bus seats before I whip it!’’ They asked me to go with them into the Transpotime21bus. There was no time to lose as they were going to give me a new life. I was going to kill myself so I had no problem trusting these two loons and to embark to wherever, as nothing could be worse than the life I was living. I was in a one-way trip to the past in a Time Machine. Every atom in my body was somewhere else going back to the past and I had to be there, they didn’t tell me why - I would know as soon as we arrived. So here I am traveling through time, defying the laws of physics to learn from Aristotle how a leprosy man lives his life. Oh cruel fate! The transparent, yellow light shield was protecting our bodies from the ride back in time. Yes we were travelling back in time! I could not believe my eyes; I was in the year 1925 again. I travelled back in time 21 years to the same day and same moment when I was going to save Mr E Juniors’ life from drowning in the lake. I saw my 10-year old past self there beside 3rdstryker and Mr E Junior going further into the centre of the lake. The two Time Travelers said to me, ''You know what you should do!'' And they fired 2 tranquilizers shots to my past self and 3rdstryker that made them fall asleep so they could not see what was about to happen. I followed Mr E Junior who was skating to the centre of the ice ring. Mr E Junior jumped 2 times and the third time he jumped he turned around, looking for 3rdstryker’s eyes, but instead he saw my leprosy body and the ice breaking below him. As I approached the ice hole I saw him drowning, the freezing water leeching the energy from his dying body. Ice coated the thick lashes framing those dead eyes, fear crystallizing as he tried to stare down death. His hands broke the surface of the frozen lake, grabbing my ears just as he had held my hands those 21 long years ago, trying to save himself from the water's frozen clutches. But death was greedy that day, my leprosy ears fell off into the icy deep, following Mr E Junior as he slowly sank. As his movements slowed and his splashing eased I found myself humming. Tears froze on my cheeks watching my ears disappearing as his hands dragged them down into the frigid depths. My humming turned to singing a leprosy song.

Poor leprosy with a dropsy body face is hollow, clothes are shoddy my colour is grey, like a dirty ashtray for today my ears filled the ice ring. 26

I turned around to say thanks to Roberto and Damon knowing the meaning of this trip back in time. It meant I was going to live my life again and forever with 3rdstryker. As I waved goodbye I joined Mr E Junior into the deep icy water. Looking upon the two sleeping children; both Roberto and Damon felt an overpowering sense of wrench in their hearts and minds, and ended up reminiscing over Mx past. 10 years later Roberto and Damon visited again Mx and 3rdstryker in the year 1935 to take them to the year 2015 to prepare them for a trip to the future to Cryptoland. Just as they were going into the Bus, the Speed Demon of Mr E Junior came out of the deepest Ices of the rink and embarked secretly into the Bus back to the future.

Who is involved in IOTA and what previous work have you done? The IOTA core consist of Me, CfB and Mtchl. At one point we’ve all been involved with NXT on different levels, but also other crypto projects. For the past year I have been leading the Jinn team. IOTA has some very forward thinking technology. Could you explain some of its features and how it's unique from other coins? The biggest difference between IOTA and other cryptos is that we drop the blocks in the blockchain in favour of a Directed Acyclic Graph architecture called Tangle. The Tangle is the backbone of IOTA, equivalent to the blockchain in Bitcoin. This increases the decentralization to the absolute maximum, decreases the hardware requirements and also allows it to scale to fit the demands of Internet-of-Things. Additionally, it’s designed to be quantum secure in preparation for the inevitable day in the future when scalable quantum computers pose a threat to all coins. Perhaps most importantly though, IOTA allows for very flexible infrastructure, meaning that it will be very useful in edge cases where infrastructure is unstable. What is your definition of "internet of things" and how does it differ from the Ethereum project? My definition of Internet-of-Things is basically how we go from having primarily one or two devices connected to the internet to having virtually everything connected to the internet. Ethereum is a great platform with a lot of potential, but it is our contention that it is way too ‘heavy weight’ to serve as a pure transactive token for most IoT devices, espeially in the outter edge of the IoT ecosystem. Most IoT devices will be tiny sensors with very little infrastructural support and so they will require an economy that can accomodate that. What is IOTA's relationship with the NXT asset JINN and what is the current progress of JINN? There is no intrinsic relationship per se, but we allowed people to purchase IOTA with JINN tokens at their original value because it was a win-win for both parties. Jinn is still in stealth mode, but under intense development. We’ve had some hardware components created and tested and came up with some new novel approaches that we are currently exploring.
