A few miles north-east of Québec, Montmorency Falls crash with a cloud of spray into the St. Lawrence River. These dramatic drops are nearly 100 feet higher than those of their famous Niagara rival and best experienced during fall’s leaf-spotting season when the landscape smolders in firework reds and yellows. Boston provides a bugle call of American Revolution history and old-town storytelling, while the whale-patrolled Canadian Coastline, is an extraordinary destination to view from the sea.
