DIVISIONAL SERVICE PROJECT: AIDS WALK Our first Divisional Service Project was a huge hit with approximately 100 attendees. Members from all over Crystal Division were able to interact and meet each other while volunteering. Despite the hot sun, members had a productive and extremely FUN day! Ultimately, it was a great first Divisional Project and we are thankful to AIDS Walk Los Angeles for allowing us to participate in such a wonderful cause.Participants also raised $70 to go towards AIDS awareness and prevention. Thank you to ALL participants!

FEATURED FUNDRAISER: PALI PTP HOCO At Palisades Charter High School’s Homecoming Game on October 20, several KIWIN’S officers gathered from 3-9pm to raise money for the Pediatric Trauma Program. We sold cookies, brownies, muffins, candy, and more. Palisades students and families came by to hear more about PTP and buy food for our cause. By the end of the night, we had raised about $220. It was an amazing day and we are all eager to raise money for this cause again!

FEATURED SERVICE EVENT: ELEMENTARY HARVEST FESTIVAL Fairfax Crystal KIWIN'S had a service event called Hancock Park Harvest Festival which took place at Hancock Park Elementary School. At this event, we helped run a festival for elementary schoolers to enjoy with their friends and family. We helped manage game booths, arts and crafts, and interacted with students. Making elementary school a bright time for these elementary students made us feel like we significantly contributed to our community and warmed our hearts. Since this event was an enjoyable experience for both us and the students, we are planning to help out again next year.
