WHATHIGHLIGHTS IS KIWIN’S? MONTHLY FAIRFAX HANCOCK PARK ELEMENTARY HARVEST FESTIVAL Fairfax KIWINNERS headed to a local elementary school, Hancock Park, to volunteer in their annual Harvest Festival event! Volunteers piloted game booths and got to play with adorable elementary school students! KIWINNERS enjoyed the festive Halloween atmosphere and the happy faces of little kids. Some KIWIN’S members at Fairfax were actually Hancock Park alumni, so the event served as a trip down memory lane!
BRAVO PARENT CONFERENCE & AIDS WALK VOLUNTEERING This week we have had volunteering events with Crystal at AIDS walk as well as volunteering during parent conference night to take care of kids. The volunteers did an amazing job and the parents definitely would bring their kids to us again to take care of them. During AIDS walk all the volunteers walked around and picked up trash. We all had a great day with great performances during trash pick up as well.

We helped by playing fun games with kids, face painting cute faces, and giving out spooky prizes and CANDIES. In the end, it was sad to shut down all the games and end all the fun.

UCLA KEY TO COLLEGE RECAP
October 28, 2018 UCLA Key to College “On October 28th, Crystal Division, along with other KIWIN’S and Key Club members, attended the UCLA Circle K Key to College. Members were able to tour the UCLA campus and learn helpful college tips through workshops and panels. All members were able to connect with mentors from Circle K and learn about their experiences in college. The event was a blast from the moment it started to the moment it finished. UCLA even did a raffle for members that signed up early and students were able to win water bottles, lanyards, and more. This was definitely an event worth attending and I hope members can attend again next year and learn new tips about college.”
