Crystal Clear

Over these past six years after my divorce, there have been many things that did not turn out the way that I expected them to be. I went from being married with three children to a single mom on a commission-based job raising three daughters and trying to find my independence financially, mentally, and spiritually from someone I’ve been married to since I was 22.

With every new adventure, life presented further obstacles. Some were so deflating that I considered if I should quit but instead, I found ways to survive and learned the difference between surviving and thriving. These past few years opening Crystal’s Spot Cafe and Lounge, starting this magazine, and branching out and owning my real estate broker Crystal Clear Realty. I built the confidence I needed to explore outside my comfort zone, grow my self-confidence, and set an example for my daughters by going after my dreams.

Challenges and overcoming them are what really build character and allow us to build self-confidence. As I read the stories submitted for every issue that's a theme that seems to resonate from women who are out their unapologetically claiming their destiny! I hope you enjoy this issue and if you know someone you think should be featured in a future issue please feel free to submit their name and story to CrystalSavesTheDeal@gmail.com
