It is crucial to identify the keywords that your prospect will use to find you online. You can find your target keywords by keeping a record of how people find your business online. Once you have identified your best keywords, it is important to use the best keyword, aka the focus keyword in your Meta Tags. Proper Keyword Use in Content

It is important to use your target keyword in the content of your target keyword page. You don’t want to use it too much. You want to use it naturally. In fact, there are tools that can help you check that your content is unique and has your target keyword in it 3-5% of the time. This means if you have a website page with 300 words you want to use your target keyword phrase no more than 15 times if your target keyword is one word. If your keyword phrase is 3 words then you don’t want to use it more than 5 times. A great way to increase the SEO power of your website is to change your website’s URLs. If you have a website focused on services, incorporate your target keywords into the URL or slug. This is a winning strategy when coupled with the right content and meta tags.

The worst thing to do is to optimize your website for high traffic and still not see results. One reason this happens is due to a compromised website. Securing your website from hackers is a reality that every website owner has to face. Have you updated all of the plugins that your site uses? Do you have any third-party applications that need updating? Are you using the latest version of your content management system for your website? If you are using a hosted solution like Wix or square space, it is still essential to make sure that any third-party plugins or software that you are using are updated.
