BALLYOWEN GOLF CLUB
Recognized universally as the #1 Public Golf Course in New Jersey and named by both Golf World and Golfweek as one of the “Top 50 Golf Resorts in the World.” Virtually treeless, Ballyowen’s unique links-style layout provides golfers with a kaleidoscopic array of verdant fairways, pristine white bunkering and wheat-yellow native rough grasses which are characteristic of the heathland style landscapes of Ireland and Scotland. In keeping with Celtic tradition, golfers may be treated to a bagpiper’s serenade at dusk. A truly special golf experience

PLANNING A GOLF OUTING
So, they’ve made you the Golf Event Planner for this year. Now what? Not to worry! What might seem like a daunting task is actually made much easier here at Crystal Springs Resort — bringing a large number of people together for golf, a catered meal, prizes and contests does not need to be difficult. The popular belief is that you must be an experienced golfer to run an outstanding golf tournament — this couldn’t be further from the truth. All it takes is some advance planning and the foresight to use some basic guidelines described here, and you can run a successful event.
AN OVERVIEW
A typical daylong, morning or afternoon golf outing involves 16 to 144 players with 18 holes of golf. There is a variety of food and beverage options that range from a simple continental breakfast to the more elaborate cocktail hour and sit-down dinner with a variety of choices in between. Your Golf Sales Manager will put together the details to insure a very successful event!
One month prior to your event, you will be contacted by your Golf Course Event Coordinator in order to go over all the final details with regards to your outing. On the day of the event, you will receive assistance from the golf course staff, to include bag drop services, pairing list, placement of sponsorship signs, setting up and scoring of all competitions and of course — a friendly smile!
