Frances Lukins I am interested in exploring the act of collaboration between maker and material. I have made compositions of process, much like chefs plating food; I wish to demonstrate the act of throwing on the wheel by ‘plating’ my process of throwing.

Hannah Gourlay: My practice pushes the boundaries of contemporary raku firing through crossing over alternative firing techniques and aluminum tin foil saggars."

Adrian Miles: The work here is the latest product of my investigation into how tactile surfaces invite the viewer to experience a work of art on a level beyond its visual aspects alone

Marek Liska: I allow the clay to form through my fingers into shapes that manifest 'growth'. Whether this be biological or social; through the development of ideas or referencing detailed botanical drawings."

Frances Gwilliam: Self portrait busts exploring colour as emotion. Catalyst piece by Bonnie Kemske.

Magdel Strydom: I am Afrikaans and grew up around Zulu pottery as a young child; I have always been drawn to the smooth burnished finish and the deep black that comes about from the smoke firing process

laura Bevan: Products of Laura's recent research into reduction glazes, inspired by Suleyman Saba

Lucy Fielden: Play and perception are key elements in my work; through stacking my ceramic pieces I hope to create a sense of unease amongst the viewer

Morgan Dowdall: I utilize traditional drawing and painting methods and transfer these onto a three-‐dimensional clay canvas. The clay is touched, torn and worked to breaking point in order to imply the physical intimacy between myself, the subject and the clay

Kajisa Roennholm: Nudity -‐ I've painted scenes from an adult magazine onto my pots, with the intention of liberating the female body from its constant and forced sexualisation; with these pots I want to re-‐paint the image of the naked female body.

Lucy Thwaites: Mark making is something that has always interested me. Using a range of materials such as slip, paint, plaster and stains, I wanted to create new surfaces and explore the many possibilities that clay offers. catalyst piece from V illeroy & Boch

Toni de Jesus: Recently I have been questioning craft and its appropriation within the fine art spectrum. My hand built pieces rely completely on the potential and possibility of porcelain. catalyst piece by Gordon Baldwin.
