Director’s Note Erica Lynford Executive Director

It’s a great time to come be a part of it at CSA. We are so thankful to have so many ambassadors in our community to support our programming year-round, from our partner groups to sponsors to Pinellas County - we are blessed! Through thick and thin, our community has supported us. And as we head into one of our favorite times of the year, we invite you to join us for our Health & Wellness Fair, the annual Halloween Carnival, Touch A Truck and don’t miss our Holiday Tree Lighting and the Palm Harbor Holiday Parade. See pages 4-5 for all the details! New and expanded programs are coming online quickly. Here are some numbers from this year that may just surprise you! Cardio Drumming has helped more than 2200 drummers burn off calories. Duplicate Bridge welcomed 1400 players while Bingo has sat 1200 fans. Hundred of toddlers (and

their parents!) have been shaking and moving to Music with Mar and Zumbini. And Pickleball has added days & times with 1100 players hitting the courts. AARP tax aide completed over 1000 tax returns and driving classes are full every month. RCS Pinellas serves 80 households monthly. Support groups like the Dementia Alzheimer Support Group is over 600 strong and we even welcome 150 Girl Scouts each month for their meetings. We’re so busy that The Centre is now open on Saturdays, giving our community a place to meet, play and connect 6 days a week! As we move into Fall, we continue to work with the County to fund a replacement building here at The Centre’s campus to make more room for our growing camp programs, and new programs like the Home School Program we’re honored to host. Hope to see you around The Centre soon!!
