Specialty Camps Half Day Camps
Covering a variety of topics from sports to cooking to dance, discover your child’s passion through one of these camps or pick a favorite to improve upon their skill! All are offered for half day (or less) until 2PM at various weeks throughout the summer and all are taught by professionals in their field. In the pages that follow, you'll find more detail about each of these exciting camps we're offering this summer!
NEED FULL DAY CAMP, BUT WANT YOUR CHILD TO EXPERIENCE SOME OF THE SPECIALTY CAMPS? Make your half day camp a full day by adding Camp Adventure to the afternoon. Your child can go to specialty camp during the morning, then join Camp Adventure in the afternoon. Add-ons are $60 a week and begin at 12PM.

“Jimmy the Bat” Baseball Camp
Our Baseball Camp will allow your child to experience all the fun of America’s favorite pastime. With a fun and positive environment, your child will learn all facets of the game. Basic conditioning will be introduced and an emphasis is placed on teamwork and sportsmanship. Coach Felce was a member of the Atlanta Braves organization as well as a high school baseball coach. Your child will learn from a professional!

Multi-Sports Camp
This camp is designed for the child who wants to learn and explore all kinds of sports and sport-related games! This fun and energetic camp will have your child learning the ins, outs and tricks of several popular sports and some that aren’t so well-known. From kickball to baseball, football, soccer and more experience the full roster of all things sports! Volleyball Clinics
Volleyball Clinics are a great way to introduce your child to the game or improve upon their skills. Taught in a fun and energetic environment, Coach Kuk will focus on basic skills (Level 1) and advanced skills (Level 2). Tennis with Johnny Angel
Now is your chance to work with an Olympic tennis coach and learn about the game or improve your skills. Camps are designed to enhance a player’s progression. Beginning players will learn forehand, backhand and serve. All children will play and learn through fun games and drills. Coach John Angel is a high-performance coach and has many years of experience in training Olympic and professional tennis players. Lessons are also available throughout the summer months. Soccer Camp
Palm Harbor’s recreational soccer organization Nighthawks Soccer will offer a number of fun activities to teach campers soccer skills in a positive, fun training environment. John Orr, Recreational Director of Coaching for West Florida Flames Soccer Club will be on hand to provide direction to camp instructors. This fun and recreational camp will offer campers an opportunity to develop their soccer skills regardless of their playing level. Campers will be divided in to groups of age and skill level at the time of camp.

Little Techs Camp
Are your kids ready to have a blast while boosting their academic skills at the same time? Then sign them up for our exciting enrichment summer camp! We will teach your child learning strategies that will follow them the rest of their lives. All of our Little Techs are provided with their own iPads during our tailored lessons while at camp. Your Little Techs will perform cool science experiments, work on creative engineering projects, tackle higherlevel thinking challenges and have tons of fun while learning at the same time! Inspired by Star Wars™ and NASA, our Jedi Brick Builders camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Campers will learn about real-life space exploration, and build models related to the NASA Space program daily. In addition, the day will include LEGO® Star Wars ™ themed models, video games, group games, challenges and more.
Remote Control Mania Available Week 3, PM
Making it move is the name of the game in this exciting LEGO® camp while campers see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls. Each day, they will use fascinating and challenging components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines & more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working of many ingenious devices that are a part of their everyday lives. They'll also learn how to magnify, diminish, and redirect force to move object at different speeds and in different directions.
Junior Robotics Available Week 6, AM
Turn your LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to perform a sequence of actions based on your commands. This camp offers all the fun of building with LEGO®, plus the challenge of computer programming! Come out to our most popular camp - Mining and Crafting Story Book! Along with our LEGO® model building of your favorite characters, mobs and tools from Minecraft™, campers will use their creativity to live out their own version of the game. Designed for the independent 3-6 year old girl, this fun camp will have your dancer learning the basics of ballet, which serves as a base for many other dance types. Irish Dance Camp
Irish Step Dance is one of the most traditional dance forms found in the Celtic regions of Europe. Developed centuries ago, this fun and energetic dance technique will have your child learning the basics as well as learning a complete jig during the camp week! Music - Chorus Camp
This Disney themed camp is great for kids who love to sing and perform! Each day includes physical warm ups, vocal warm ups and technique, learning songs, music games. The week will finish with a concert for parents! Children will make props to enhance their performance. Elaine LaPierre is a music educator and has been working with children for over ten years. Boat Fishing Camp
One of Palm Harbor’s most unique camps, your child will become part of the crew of a small fishing charter boat! As your child enjoys the waters of Pinellas, they will learn all about their surroundings, fishing techniques and fish identification. Each boat is led by a United States Coast Guard approved Fishing Charter Captain, who is fully insured and background screened by the Florida Department of Children & Families. If your child has a tendency to get motion sickness, we suggest our “land fishing” camp. Campers who do get “sea sick” will have to be returned to shore and picked-up promptly. Ages: 8-15 Schedule: 8:30AM-12PM Fees: $250 Weeks Available: 4 - Tue, Wed, Thu (rain date: Fri) Camp Instructor: Captain Christian Zarra 8 - Mon, Tue, Wed (rain date: Thu, Fri) Location: Marino’s Marina 286 Shore Drive, Ozona (Palm Harbor) What To Bring? Campers should wear water-appropriate clothing and flip-flops or water shoes. Hats, water, light snacks and sunscreen are needed each day. Your child will be provided with their own fishing pole to utilize during camp and to keep once camp is over. Boats depart promptly at 8:30AM. Please arrive early.
Land Fishing Camp
Captain David Blanchard leads this fun, waterside camp program as we explore the Florida nature at Pop Stansell Park. Each child will learn the basics of fishing, including how to bait a hook, tie knots and the proper fishing techniques. Each child will be provided with their own fishing pole to be utilized during camp times and take with them when camp is over! Ages: 7-12 Schedule: Monday-Friday , 9AM to 12PM Fees: $130 Weeks Available: 7 Camp Instructor: Captain David Blanchard Location: Pop Stansell Park (Fishing Pier) What To Bring? Free Fishing Series
Each year, through the support of donations from local businesses, organizations and private individuals, CSA Palm Harbor is pleased to offer a free fishing program to our community’s children. Your child will have a great time exploring the waters of beautiful St. Joseph’s Sound and spending time with a licensed charter boat captain on-board a charter fishing boat. This Free Fishing Series is reserved for children that have not had an opportunity to sail with us in previous years. Registration for this program is free and is first-come, first-served. Space in this program is limited due to the number of boats we have available. Spaces will fill up - early registration is highly recommended. Registration must be done in-person at The Centre (1500 16th Street). At time of registration, a $50 check is required to hold your child’s space. This check will be given back to you at time of your child’s attendance in the program. If your child does not take part, your check will be used to off-set costs associated with the taken space. This program, is in its sixth year continues to grow. The community has stepped in to continue the legacy of this great program. Kayaking Camp
Taking advantage of the beautiful Florida waters, Kayaking Camp is certain to make your camper ask for more and appreciate the nature that is Florida. This camp is one of our more popular offerings. Your child will learn boating safety and all about Florida’s nature features from Pop Stansell Park.

Tae Kwon Do is a great martial art that teaches self defense, sportsmanship, and discipline. Our instructor has years of experience and is a fifth-degree international black belt. This camp is for both the beginner and the advanced learner looking to sharpen their skills. No uniform is needed. Gymnastics Camp
This recreational program is based on the developmental curriculum of the USA Gymnastics Program. Each session is designed to meet the developmental needs of your child. Your child will be challenged in a safe, structured, educational environment learning gymnastics skills that will carry them through life. Our camp programs strive to build not only on your child’s skill level but we build self-confidence as well. Your child will be offered encouragement through their learning process. Depending on their skill level they will be in an environment that will develop their skill or introduce them to new techniques. Ages: VPK-15 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM to 12:30PM or 12:30PM to 5PM Fees: $125 (half day camp). Full day option available - call for details/pricing. Junior Counselor Program Our Junior Counselor (JC) program focuses on developing leadership skills in teens age 13-17 through working hand-in-hand with our summer camp administrative team. JCs are an integral part of our programming and assist in all aspects of summer camp program planning and administration. This program is perfect for those seeking Bright Futures hours, too! The Junior Counselor program is for interested teens that want to take part in our summer activities and be the “helping hands” in a day camp setting. JCs will have various duties in the camp program such as: setting up rooms for the day, preparing crafts, leading games and sports, being an active member of the Camp Team and much more. There is no cost to participate in this program; however, interested teens must submit the following information to be considered, as this is a competitive program and spaces are limited. JCs are asked to commit to five (5) of the eight (8) weeks of summer camp. They will be scheduled for four (4) hour shifts. To get started, complete a “Junior Counselor Program” application, available online at www.PalmHarborCamps.com and return it to the indicated address. Applications consist of: 1. the program application 2. a letter of reference (from a non-family member), and 3. a copy of your latest progress report or report card Teens selected for the program will complete a series of interviews and training prior to the start of summer. The Fine Print Registration Information
Registration for all camp programs is done on a first-come, first-served basis. We have an online registration system, located at www.PalmHarborCamps.com. Online registration is available 24/7 and payment can be made by Visa/ Mastercard/Discover at time of registration. Registration can also be done in person at The Centre located at 1500 16th Street in Palm Harbor. Registration hours are Monday-Thursday 8AM to 8PM and Friday 8AM to 5PM.
Payment Policy
Camp Adventure’s payment policy is: first week of registered camp must be paid in full at time of registration. Following weeks may be deposited to hold your child’s space with a $50 non-refundable down payment. Final payments are due one (1) week prior to first day of camp. No child will be allowed to participate in camp until the balance is paid in full.
Registration Fee
There is a one time registration fee of $20 that must be made prior to any registrations.
Forms
Camper Emergency Forms are required and are to be filled out in their entirety for each camper. These are available online and must be turned in to the registration office a week prior to the child’s camp date.
Refunds and Changes
All requests must be made in writing. Refunds will be issued ONLY for emergences. There will be a $10 processing fee for all refunds and changes.
Marketing & Social Media
As a public entity, we regularly take photos and videos of our programs. Media may be used for future print, web or video advertising, as well as social media, but will never be shared or sold to a commercial entity.
Public Records
As per Florida Statute 119, all correspondence to/from the Palm Harbor Community Services Agency is considered a public record and may be released as allowed by law.
Code of Conduct
All campers are required to remain respectful of their Camp Counselors and facilities. If a child’s behavior becomes unruly or is a disruption to participation, a parent/guardian will be contacted to pick-up the child immediately. Repeated unruly behavior will result in suspension or termination of program participation, without refund.
