Call for Papers [Special Topic]
Sociology of Design and EDA The special topic calls for papers on Sociology of Design and EDA and such papers will appear in the journal Studies in Sociology of Science as a special column. Affiliated research area: Sociology, Electronic design automation and methodology
Description It was a tool that allowed us to analyze an instruction stream being executed by embedded processors on a chip. It's a very complex and perplexing ecosystem. We have the suppliers, the users, and we have a whole branch of areas that could benefit from automation of design tools. Successful design of complex electronic systems increasingly requires the bi-directional flow of information among groups of design specialists who are becoming more dispersed geographically and organizationally. This affects the type of design flows we develop, the nature of the design tools, how design software is supported and the organizational structure of the EDA and electronics industries. We want to predict the trend of the influences of the interaction among designers and design organizations on the future evolution of design methodology and EDA by the examples and the issues provided.
Requirements In addition to the Review and Original Articles by invited speakers, we are inviting you to submit a relevant research paper on Sociology of Design and EDA for consideration. Papers will be subject to normal peer review and must comply with the Guide for Authors. To submit papers to the “Sociology of Design and EDA” Special Topic, please go to http://www.cscanada.net. With your submission, please state clearly to the editor that your manuscripts are submitted to the Special Topic Sociology of Design and EDA.
