What is the Crosby Scholars Finish the FAFSA Agreement? What is Crosby Scholars Finish the FAFSA Agreement and why is it important?
Crosby Scholars Finish the FAFSA Agreement allows Crosby Scholars Financial Aid Coordinator to provide support to students and families who need help submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, during their senior year in high school. The Finish the FAFSA Agreement DOES NOT disclose any personal financial information. The Finish the FAFSA Agreement does not disclose any information on family or student income, citizenship information, social security numbers or any other personally identifiable information. The Finish the FAFSA Agreement data is not used for any purpose other than to offer students assistance with FAFSA completion. The Finish the FAFSA data will not be used to identify your student in any way.
Crosby Scholars Financial Aid Coordinator will only be able to confirm if your student has submitted and signed their FAFSA form, or if they have been selected for an additional FAFSA screening process called Verification. Crosby Scholars Financial Aid Coordinator will then contact your or your student to offer assistance with completion.

The FAFSA is now OPEN! Apply TODAY! The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, is a form Colleges and Universities use to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and college-sponsored financial aid, including state grants, federal student loans, and work-study programs. The only way to know if you are eligible to receive state and federal financial aid funds is to submit a 2022-23 FAFSA.
The earlier you submit your FAFSA, the better chance you will have at securing the maximum amount of federal and institutional financial aid for college. Don't wait, get your FSA ID and get started on your 2022-23 FAFSA today!

Scholarship Starting Points
Not sure where to start when looking for scholarships or grants? Try the following options to help narrow down your search and pinpoint scholarships that are right for you.
Outside Scholarship Resources Database 21-22 lists many outside scholarships available for the 2021-22 academic year. Scholarships are conveniently organized by deadline, with specific tabs for each month.
Crosby Scholars Scholarship opportunities for Seniors will be available beginning January 2022 in the Crosby Scholars Student Portal. Check your Student Portal for more information. We open at least 1 new scholarship per week, so check your Crosby Scholars Student Portal frequently and apply for as many as you can.
The application for Crosby Scholars Last Dollar Grant, a need-based $1,200 grant, will become available in late April/Early May 2022.

Donna Easter Student Ethics Scholarship The BBB® Education Foundation of Central & Northwest NC is offering four (4) scholarships to graduating seniors from designated NC counties who will enroll at any accredited two or four-year college, technical college, or university in the fall of 2022.
Eligibility criteria
To be considered, you must: 1. Be graduating from high school in any of the 19 counties we serve; 2. Be attending any two or four-year college, technical college or university beginning in the fall of 2022; 3. Be in good academic standing and show proof of community service and leadership while in high school; 4. Submit a 500 word essay describing how you handled an ethical dilemma you faced.
