Decision PlansCollege
Colleges and universities use a variety of deadline types in their application process. These different deadline types can have different requirements and incentives.
Through Early Action, students apply to the College/University early in order to receive a decision well in advance of the institution's regular response date. Often schools will use this deadline for scholarship consideration as well. This Decision is Non-Binding.
Through Rolling Admission, institutions review applications as they are submitted and render admission decisions throughout the admission cycle. When an application is submitted, the University/College will review the application immediately and then render a decision. This Decision is Non-Binding.
Through Regular Decision, students submit an application by a specified date and receive a decision in a clearly stated period of time. This is usually the final deadline that a school will offer. This Decision is Non-Binding.
