KEY TO ABBREVIATIONS wGPA weighted Grade Point Average; we use this data point at the end of first semester Senior year for recognition at our Senior Honors Celebration
CN1 we offer 6 cycles of 1:1 Advising with all Crosby Scholars beginning in February of their Junior year; we refer to each cycle of advising as “Conference Notes” as this is the form that our Advisors submit after meeting with their assigned scholar
TLS each Spring we hold sessions for current Juniors and we call it “Think Like a Senior”; this is a requirement of the program and we will offer both virtual and in-person options
BOC each year we host a golf tournament which is a major fundraising effort; to kick off the day we include a “Breakfast of Champions” for our players, special guests and supporters and we always invite some of our current Crosby Scholars students to attend; this is held on a school day morning so these students will need to be excused from school for a small portion of the day; more details will be provided
LDG a major benefit of graduating as a Crosby Scholars Senior is becoming eligible to apply for a Last Dollar Grant; this is a need-based grant for up to $1,200 a year and for up to 4 years of higher education; scholars must apply and provide the requested information but we strongly encourage students to apply for LDG to see if they qualify
