9th and 10th Grade September Academies are open in your Crosby Scholars Student Portal! September Dates, Times, Locations:
Wednesday, September 15 - 5:30-7pm - Virtual via Zoom Saturday, September 18 - 9:00-10:30am - In-Person at Forsyth Tech Saturday, September 18 - 9:00-10:30am - Virtual via Zoom Saturday, September 25 - 9:00-10:30am - In-Person at Forsyth Tech Saturday, September 25 - 11:30-1:00pm - In-Person at Forsyth Tech Registration is required in the Crosby Scholars Student Portal. Space is limited for each session and is available first come, first serve. Zoom link for virtual sessions will be sent out approximately 4 hours prior to the start of the session. A mask is required for all students who attend Crosby Scholars events in person at this time. In the event that in-person presentations are cancelled due to Covid-19 policy changes, students will be notified in advance.

Upcoming Programs for 9th and 10th Grade Students and Parents Did you know? Crosby Scholars has Leadership + Enrichment Programs! All high schools have elected officers that participate in leadership training. The African American Males Pursuing Educational Dreams (AAMPED) program ensures African American males have resources to achieve educational equity. Excelencia educates Hispanic girls and their families about the many opportunities that exist beyond high school. The Hispanic Latino Male Success (HLMS) program provides mentoring, as well as introduces career and STEM opportunities. The Show, Help, Employ (SHE) program encourages underrepresented women to learn about and pursue STEM careers.

Many nonprofits in the community rely on volunteer hours from Crosby Scholars students. Visit the Crosby Scholars website for information regarding available community service opportunities. Students must complete 2 hours of community service (5 hours recommended for high school students) by May 13, 2022. You can submit your community service form online or via paper copy. Log in regularly to register for Academies, check your community service status, and take advantage of our free resources. Email highschool@crosbyscholars.org to request your portal username and password. Keep your information up-to-date so Crosby Scholars staff is always able to connect with you.
