@CROSBYSCHOLARS The Crosby Scholars Community Partnership is a college access program for 6th-12th grade students in Forsyth County public schools. Since 1992, the program has prepared students academically, financially and personally for successful college admission, free of charge. Through an affiliation with Goodwill of Northwest NC, a second Crosby Scholars Program was established in Rowan County in 2013 and a third in Iredell County in 2015. To ensure that every public school student in Forsyth County has the opportunity to attend college.

Leadership + Outreach Programs
Leadership Council students as ambassadors for Crosby Scholars in their school and community. CrosbyPLUS is an advising opportunity for 9th + 10th graders to begin to prepare for college. African American Males Pursuing Educational Dreams – AAMPED Program – aims to achieve educational equity by discussing real world issues and providing activities to learn about college, financial literacy, goal setting and more. Excelencia encourages Hispanic/Latina girls to feel confident in who they are and educates them and their families about the many opportunities that exist beyond middle and high school. The LIGHHT Program strives to increase the number of foster care youth who enroll in college or post-secondary opportunities. The Hispanic/Latino Male Success – HLMS Program – provides mentoring for Hispanic/Latino male scholars by helping them feel confident in who they are, focusing on social issues, and providing space for them to voice their experiences while also promoting college and career plans. The Show, Help, Employ – SHE Program – encourages underrepresented women to learn about and pursue STEM careers.
