Women, and particularly women minorities, are underrepresented in STEM careers. S.H.E. engages students in unique programs and career exploration activities, such as speaking with a NASA astronaut at the Winston-Salem State University Astrobotany Lab and exploring career opportunities at NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway, just to name a few!
We want to give our S.H.E. girls the knowledge and exposure to know that they can pursue their dreams and be the ones to add diversity to STEM fields moving forward!

SHE Program students in the 6th-12th grade are invited with their mothers to attend. This is an event for students enrolled in the Crosby Scholars program who are in grades 6-12 to come out and enjoy an evening event with their mothers. We will have a dinner for everyone, health exams for the mothers, and a mother-daughter bonding session.
