Women, and particularly women minorities, are underrepresented in STEM careers. S.H.E. engages students in unique programs and career exploration activities, such as speaking with a NASA astronaut at the Winston-Salem State University Astrobotany Lab and exploring career opportunities at NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway, just to name a few!
We want to give our S.H.E. girls the knowledge and exposure to know that they can pursue their dreams and be the ones to add diversity to STEM fields moving forward!

Crosby Scholars had the opportunity to take a group of our Outreach Program Students involved in SHE, AAMPED, and HLMS to the Greensboro Science Museum. Students were able to see the aquarium, zoo area, and other fun exhibits .

We made welcome bags and cards for families at the SECU Family House in Winston-Salem!
Crosby Scholars was invited by Lewisville Middle School to host Lunch and Learn opportunities with our students in SHE, AAMPED, and HLMS.
During our Lunch and Learn activities students are able to earn their academy and community service requirements after attending 3 sessions.
