The goal of the S.H.E. Program is to introduce STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math to 7th -10th grade female minority students early in their education. Our mission is to provide inclusion for students already enrolled in the Crosby Scholars Program Women, and particularly women minorities, are underrepresented in STEM careers. S.H.E. engages students in unique programs and career exploration activities, such as speaking with a NASA astronaut at the Winston-Salem State University Astrobotany Lab and exploring career opportunities at NASCAR's Charlotte Motor Speedway, just to name a few! We want to give our S.H.E. girls the knowledge and exposure to know that they can pursue their dreams and be the ones to add diversity to STEM fields moving forward!
