PSWT Winter 2014

HAPPY NEW YEAR GREETINGS FROM YOUR PSWT PRESIDENT! On behalf of PSWT officers, we wish you a Happy New Year and welcome back to CSD after what was hopefully an enjoyable winter break! There is always a renewed sense of enthusiasm about coming back to school for the Spring term and PSWT is excited to be bringing a fun schedule of programs to our community. Did you know that PSWT helps with Reading Count funds? Did you know that PSWT is working with Family Education Coordi-

nator to set up the Parents Buddy System? PSWT is so much more than just fun community events like Harvest Festival, Family Bingo Night, ASL Holiday Potluck, Family Flick Night, Family Dance and Family Game Night; PSWT truly makes a profound impact in the day to day experience of our students—and without volunteers like YOU, none of it would be possible. The fun kicks off on Tuesday, January 14th with ASL

Storytelling and Pizza at 5:30 pm. The meeting will follow after the storytelling event. We hope you will join us. I’d love to get to know you and hear your thoughts and ideas for our school. Please feel free to contact us at parentstaffworktogether@gmail.com. Remember, it is for YOUR students, for YOUR school, for YOUR community. -Jeannette Zarembka, PSWT President

Annual Flick Night—Friday, January 31st PSWT is giving families a night out that they won’t forget! Kids love movies and parents do too! We will show ―Mr. Poppers’ Pengiuns‖ by Jim Carrey up on the big screen at MAC. Just bring some blankets, toss them on the gym floor, and sit back!

Come and join us at MAC on Friday, January 31st at 6:30 pm. We will sell popcorn, drinks and candies! The admission is only $1 for our students and FREE for our parents! . This event is good for ECE and Elementary students.
