To Our Fellow Sacred Heart Alumnae and Alumnae Families It is with great joy and pride that we announce “A Gift for Every Girl,” the alumnae portion of the Framing Our Future capital campaign. While we have had campaigns in the past, never before has one enabled all alumnae and their families, of all generations, at all giving levels to participate in a meaningful way.
Why one gift for every girl? Because each of us was that girl or raised that girl. Our gifts not only show gratitude to Sacred Heart for what we received, but also paves the way for future alumnae. Our goal? To achieve the greatest participation possible among our alumnae—targeting 740 gifts, one for every current student.
Why this project? This capital project will make our already exceptional campus more beautiful, and very importantly, more useful and much safer for all the girls. Sacred Heart will restore the very heart of our property to allow for much-needed additional space with a renovated and expanded Dining Room, a larger Athletic Complex and the relocation of a road to create a beautiful commons green space featuring the Alumnae Garden and linking all buildings with a quad.
Where are we to date? We have raised almost 60 percent of the $25.5 million we need—and are thankful and proud that alumnae and alumnae family gifts represent an important part of that. Please read this brochure—specifically pages 6, 7 and 12 which describe the Leadership and Legacy Walls and the Alumnae Garden—to see how you can participate. An envelope is enclosed for your convenience. We would love to see and hear from you so please see the listing of alumnae campaign receptions, at left, and help us launch and celebrate Sacred Heart’s next great era! Most Sincerely, Your Alumnae Campaign Co-Chairs,
Mandy Dawson Murphy Class of 1985
Lisa Burke Fallon Class of 1989 1
