3 pieces - Morning Shed

Morning Shed - C. Shoup

“One morning Amanda and I drove to the school where she works. On the way, we passed this interesting shed that stood isolated in the fields. My eyes were attracted to the weathered colors of the tin. “I later returned to photograph the shed and I used the images for the three pieces in this series. These represent my first large scale tiles—it took around 4 hours to set the photographs on each four foot by four foot square. I coated each square with polyurethane because I had no other means to preserve the exposed photographs. “This shed has since been torn down.”
