Partners and Friends!
The arts have a central role in the intellectual, cultural, and creative interchange that is at the core of building a strong campus and a thriving community. The Clarice’s Artist Partner Program at the University of Maryland nurtures active participation in creative investigation of what it means to be alive. Our strength lies in our robust partnerships with both campus and community groups, where we generate access to the arts and animate engagement in creative expression, celebrating who we are and all that we can be. And, we have fun!
There are multiple ways to connect to the Artist Partner Program including the international, multi-genre Visiting Artist Series; the annual NextNOW Fest, which serves as an artful welcome back to campus for UMD students; and the National Orchestral Institute + Festival, which is developing the next generation of musicians and leaders.
