1. Background Interesting enough birds in Asia have been said to be carrying a new type of influenza. While trying to figure out the cure, scientists created an even more devastating virus 2. Target Audience Viewers of The New York Times 3. Objective To create an editorial illustration that will relate to, and describe the article I chose about the dangers associated with bird influenza and the virus that was created by scientists 4. Obstacles I may experience difficulty in miscommunication between whether or not this is as serious as it should be. Creating an editorial illustration may be ironic in one way or another but could come off as a joke. 5. Key Benefit My illustration will draw in the audience which will allow them to realize the importance of this issue 6. Support Statement This issue needs to be addressed, and with my illustration they will recognize the dangers associated with this article 7. Tone My illustration is going add humor to a serious issue, but still be able to gain attention from the viewers 8. Media Newspaper 9. Creative Considerations The illustration should be able to draw people in and make them think about this issue, but not be too humorous that they lose interest in the imporance of the bird influenza.
