DUROSOL Straight Edging Profiles DUROSOL perfect edge protection for ceramic coverings in heights from 2 - 50 mm
Durosol straight or square edge profiles provide linear definition plus edge protection where needed. Available in PVC, aluminium, stainless steel and brass in a large variety of depths to suit most coverings. These profiles are also available in a formable version which is invaluable for creating design features easily. No special tools are required for this.
A NOTE ON SIZING: In common with all profile suppliers we “size� our range by the internal height of the angle. This means from the top of the fixing flange to the top edge of the profile. So any profile that we supply as a 10mm is, in reality, 11mm overall height. To avoid confusion we have included an overall height measurement in this catalogue.

Birds Beak is produced especially to provide a neat and hygienic edging to coves. Manufactured in Grade 304 and 280. Each profile is drilled for screw fixing at 300mm centres. This profile is available in bespoke sizes and dimensions. We can also supply a wide range of cove capping profiles in PVC and round edge Aluminium including anodised finishes, Stainless Steel and Brass.

U-DRAIN Linear Drainage System NEW SYSTEM

Remove the U-DRAIN product from the box. Carefully store the U-DRAIN Alloy grating away from the construction site until all the concreting and resin bound work has been completed. DO NOT REMOVE the poly former insert from the drain.

Once you have established the finished height and fall of the drain, use PVC solvent cement and glue the U-DRAIN together as per your drainage design fixing right angle corners and the outlets in their correct position. Set the U-DRAIN into place using either a concrete mix or sand and cement ensuring that the Poly Former insert stays neatly fitted at all times in the U-DRAIN base. DO NOT REMOVE the poly former insert from the drain base until resin bound work is fully completed.

Pour the concrete around the fixed drain base to the selected finished height required for your next step laying the resin. Ensure that the drain stays straight and clean at all times during any pouring process. DO NOT REMOVE the poly former insert from the drain base until the resin work is completed.

You are now ready to lay the resin bound material. We recommend that between your resin material and the drain the use of a flexible product like silicone or polyurethane to avoid any possibility of movement between the two different products. A 4mm joint is recommended to avoid possible movement and cracking. DO NOT REMOVE the poly former insert from the drain base until resin bound work is fully completed.

Your U-DRAIN installation is now ready to be completed. Remove the poly former insert and discard in an environmentally friendly manner. Now clip the U-DRAIN Alloy top into place. Start clipping from one end by gently pushing the alloy top intothe plastic drain base. If there is any cleaning required ensure that only PH Neutral products are being used. Acid or highly alkaline solutions may damage the alloy top.
