She tucks my blankets up under my chin.

Then she chooses one at random, and in a gentle voice, begins to read‌

Right away, my bedroom is full of words and pictures. Because in her stories, I’m always the main character.

like the one when we visit the fairground in the city. We climb up onto the Ferris wheel, and she buys me cotton candy‌
