In the spotlight... The Enchantment Chamber - feel the magic

The Enchantment Chamber started off as an idea of wanting to make accommodation for visitors to York that was fully immersive, and enabled guests to feel they were part of a story in the magical world. Starting with a redeveloped apartment as a blank canvas, the journey to create the magic began, as the owners used their background in antiques and contacts in the theming industry, to create, dress and design all the bespoke and unique elements of The Enchantment Chamber.

Toffers a unique self catering experience within an authentic wizarding world bed chamber

complete with an unconventional four poster bed, realistic open fire, real wood flooring and furnished with an eclectic collection of magical artifacts from the wizarding world. As well as offering a magical experience, The Enchantment Chamber boasts modern comforts

in both its self catering kitchen and relaxing shower room facilities. It is located in a traditional mill building within the walls of the historical city of York and a stones throw from the magical setting of The Shambles - said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley.

THE FACILITIES

u Self contained themed kitchen, complete with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, sink microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. As well as an array of utensils and crockery. u Bespoke Four Poster Bed with curtains and magical enchanted star lit ceiling. u Travel case wardrobe.

u Artificial fireplace, hiding the TV and DVD player. u Dining space amongst the unique and authentic magical antiques. u Leather sofa with Cauldron coffee table.

u Modern shower room with quadrant shower, toilet and sink. u Entrance hall with bench and bespoke goblin hands to hang coats.

ROOM RATES:

£150 - £220 per night depending on selected dates. (2 night minimum stay).
