Give me but one firm spot on which to stand, and I will move the earth (Archimedes) What does to design mean? In English, the word configuration is both a thing and a verb (which discloses to one a considerable measure about the way of the English dialect). As a thing, it implies—in addition to other things "aim," "arrange," "plan," "point," "conspire," "plot," "theme," "essential structure," all these (and different implications) being associated with "shrewd" and "trickiness." As a verb ("to outline"), implications incorporate "to devise something," "to reproduce," "to draft," "to draw," "to mold," 'to have plans on something." The word is gotten from the Latin signum, signifying "sign," and has a similar old root. In this manner, etymologically, outline signifies "de-sign." This brings up the issue: How has the word configuration come to accomplish its present-day centrality all through the world? This question is not a verifiable one, in the feeling of sending erratic to look at writings for confirmation of when and where the word came to be built up in its present-day meaning. It is a semantic question, in the feeling of making one consider exactly why this word has such hugeness connected to it in contemporary talk about culture.

What exactly does the word design mean? “Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns).” What is meant by designing? “Design involves problem-solving and creativity. In contrast, production involves a routine or pre-planned process. A design may also be a mere plan that does not include a production or engineering processes although a working knowledge of such processes is usually expected of designers.” What is the job design? "Job design is the process of deciding on the contents of a job in terms of its duties and responsibilities, on the methods to be used in carrying out the job, in terms of techniques, systems and procedures, and on the relationships that should exist between the job holder and his superior subordinates and colleagues."

What is the process of design? “Process design can be the design of new facilities or it can be the modification or expansion of existing facilities. The design starts at a conceptual level and ultimately ends in the form of fabrication and construction plans.”

What is architecture and design?

“Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object, system or measurable human interaction (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns).

Etymology

Design (verb): 1540s, from Latin designare “mark out, devise, choose, designate, appoint,” from de- “out” + signare “to mark,” from signum “a mark, sign”. Originally in English with the meaning now attached to designate; many modern uses of design are metaphoric extensions. Design (noun): 1580s, from Middle French desseign “purpose, project, design,” from Italian disegno, from disegnare “to mark out,” from Latin designare “to mark out” (see design (v.)). (Source: Etymology Dictionary) Dictionary Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns). Design has different connotations in different fields. (Source: Cambridge Dictionary of American English) Authorities DESIGN: (noun) a specification of an object, manifested by some agent, intended to accomplish goals, in a particular environment, using a set of primitive components, satisfying a set of requirements, subject to some constraints. (Source: Ralph, P. and Wand, Y. (2009). A proposal for a formal definition of the design concept. In Lyytinen, K., Loucopoulos, P., Mylopoulos, J., and Robinson, W., editors, Design Requirements Workshop (LNBIP 14), pp. 103–136. Springer-Verlag, p. 109) To design is to devise courses of action aimed at changing existing situations into preferred ones. - Herbert Simon, Nobel laureate The basic thought in every one of the definitions is by all accounts viewing to design is configuration as to deliberate activity, an arrangement of tackling specific issue. Plan, paying little heed to the specific sober minded train, is a think set of activities that are intended to offer some incentive for the recipient of an "outlined thing".

The term Design will pick up a more profound significance by contemplating it like this. Design or configuration is all the more then style. Configuration or design is more than simply planning capacity. It's about offering intending to something. It's about experience. That is the reason the idea of the outline rises above single teaches and can be connected to web, versatile, programming, form, modern, insides and so on.

Design by Val Go Green Products I really don’t know why the name Design by Val… came to mind, but it did and knows it has to help protect the back, spine and neck! “Design by Val Go Green Products,” just stood out and the word design was somewhat magical of the world and made it seem like it was already done. “Design is one of the most powerful forces in our lives, whether or not we are aware of it, and can also be inspiring, empowering and enlightening,” states Alice Rawsthorn, design critic for The International New York Times. Even Steve Jobs was passionate to the point of obsessive about design and insisted that his computers looked perfect inside and out. Steve Jobs also said, “Sometimes a design can be so sleek and simple that a user finds it intimidating or unfriendly to navigate. “The main thing in our design is that we have to make things intuitively obvious,” Jobs told the crowd of design mavens. For example, he extolled the desktop metaphor he was creating for the graphical screen of his new computer, the Macintosh. “People know how to deal with a desktop intuitively. If you walk into an office, there are papers on the desk. The one on the top is the most important. People know how to switch priority. Part

of the reason we model our computers on metaphors like the desktop is that we can leverage this experience people already have.” One of the basics of the importance of design is for differentiation of products or services. My opinion is that every other importance of design comes back to this. You have to look different so people can tell you apart from the competition. One could say that the quality of the product or service is what should differentiate each one, but for a first time consumer or customer design is the only way of knowing what your options “look like.” “Great Design is like a baby born out of desire and love.” - A’Design Award and Competition

I kept seeing A’Design Award and Competition in my emails and somehow felt that they were God’s angels pushing me to go forward with my vision of Design by Val Go Green Products Backpack. You know when you have dreams they turn into visions and your visions turn into fear. You turn that fear over to God and He begins His designing and assigning of these amazing angels He incorporates into our lives when we begin believing in our dreams and this is just one of them He has established into Design by Val Go Green Products journey: A’Design Award Principles and Methodology: METHODOLOGY
