CAMPING

Get back to nature and sleep beneath the stars; wake up to coffee and an al fresco breakfast cooked fresh on the stove: there’s nothing quite like camping to reconnect and reset. There are plenty of campsites to choose from, with as many (or as few!) facilities as you like. Some are in remote valleys, others are on holiday parks with pools, shops and bars. You could even stay in a camping barn: an affordable option, great for larger groups.

HOSTELS

If you want an easy base for a walking holiday; somewhere to stay with a larger group; or a budget friendly option, a hostel could be the perfect choice. Whether dramatically located on the side of a fell, tucked away in a bustling town, or situated by a beautiful lake, our hostels offer budget-savvy travellers clean and basic comforts without having to compromise on location.

GLAMPING

Want to enjoy the camping experience, but also want a little touch of extra comfort and luxury? There are numerous glamping experiences across the region, from the comfortable and convenient to the downright quirky. Luxury yurts, shepherds huts, treehouses and even restored vintage train carriages…the possibilities are endless! Think comfy mattresses, plugs for your phone, private bathrooms and more. Many sites are eco friendly, too.

CARAVAN AND MOTORHOME SITES

Bringing your touring caravan or motorhome? With plenty of well equipped sites to park up in, all you need to do is choose your favourite, hook up and pop the kettle on! OK, you might want to book ahead too - from larger holiday parks with excellent facilities to smaller, more basic sites, there’s lots to choose from. For inspiration and help planning your route see
